Boiling water is pretty good, but pressure cooking it is about 100% effective (for me when i was grown shrooms).

Ok so could i just put it all on a metal tray if i made a fire outside and let it cook for a few hour's?

Yes,if the core temp gets to 180 for awhile it will be sterile ish.
I like my dirt well done MMMMMMMMM.

So does this mean there will be no spidermite's or any other bugs left in my compost?.
