Holy shit - 18 yr old neighbour just bought SL55AMG!!!

I couldnt quite belive my ears this morning as I heard the rumble of a v8 engine coming from outside, went out and it got louder, went out the gate onto the road and there it was.....a fuckin 2006 SL55 amg in silver purring away.

This might not be a suprise to most of you living in 1st world countries, however I am in a 3rd world country right now visiting my parents home and the local import duties here are 350%!!! You can do the math and work out how much it cost!!!

Iv had quick cars in my life (im in my 20s) but never have I seen anyone even in the UK (where i normally reside) drive such cars at such a young age. Its remarkable.

I am totally fucking speechless, his parents obviously are TOTALLY loaded.

Fastest car iv ever been in, that thing fucking moves! and the sound! OMFG, closest sound to a 747 IMO

Il post some vidoes later of letting it loose, trafic police are like non existant here so can pretty much do what he wants haha

lol im sure lots of things can, my old evo would kill it on launch, but nothing in this country comes close to it haha lucky kid!

You should come over to my area. One of my buddy's has a 2006 triple black z06 vette and the other has a 2010 Zr1. 7.0L vs 6.2L supercharged!

You guys are lucky in the states, in the UK hardly anyone young has anything remotely fast due to insurance restrictions and brutal cost. Apart from footballers that is!

I guess it depends on what kind of area you live in, i'm used to aston martins and ferrari's, the guy up the road took delivery of a brand new ferrari, custom plates already on, looked real swish.

Very true, this is the best part of town but still rarely do people buy these sorts of cars i 3rd world countries with electricity black outs, people begging on the streets etc, its really that bad and then you see this like this, puts shit in prespective, especially when ur stoned and thinking about it

Dude here it's very common to see Ferrari's and Lamborghini's on a weekly basis in the summer. Youll see like 4 or 5 Porsche Carerra's at an intersection, OFTEN!


Its seriously like Grand Theft Auto IV, ALL THE SAME CARS!

my wife's ex did up a renault 5 gt, full engine job custom exterior blah blah blah, Spent 20 grand british pounds, got it on the front cover of max power, but its still an old car and at some point its gonna die a lot sooner than spending that money on a car from new.

I look like 3-4 years younger than I am (its a curse right now, I figure itll be a gift in 10)

And I really gotta be careful riding my bike around and shit because cops dont have anything better to do here than follow / fuck with people

ha ha, them and me, my saxo has a much better power to weight than an SL55,

I am having a cosworth engine put in it at the moment and 4 wheel drive, bitch is gonna fly

My saxo cosworth is currently 14 years old, it is stronger in chassis and shell than it was on leaving France 14 years ago there is no reason that this crazy 4 wheel drive monster won't go 10 years before stripping again with only straight forward maintainance..

to put it into perspective, when road ready it will double the bhp/ton of a Ferrari 360 Modena
