Skipped a few pages, you still plannin to make your own strain from these? Whats the plan just veg inside, flower outside and pollinate them all with stuff from your last batch?
Show them girls who's the daddy!!!alright sweet good deal cant wait to see it man. and thanks for coming by. this one is starting off right. Im making sure i've got everything ready before I start. this will be all organic in soil so im not sure how much of it will help you but im sure it will be a good show so stick around, and thank you for subscribing.
yeah that's pretty much the plan I have about 3 good candidates for seed mothers based on structure smell vigor and a few other variables. like drought resistance and just overall durability. you going to stick around? your more than welcome.Skipped a few pages, you still plannin to make your own strain from these? ha ha CG just couldn't resist the light huh?Show them girls who's the daddy!!!
yeah its one of my favorite pictures. so what do you make of my plant that has 3 leaves at one node? have you seen this before I honestly don't know what to think. I know its a rare find though.the light stops me every time i see it. like a fuckin bug zapper lmao
Yeah I'll be stickin around.yeah that's pretty much the plan I have about 3 good candidates for seed mothers based on structure smell vigor and a few other variables. like drought resistance and just overall durability. you going to stick around? your more than welcome.
Hiya Bigbud
I think what you're seeing is what's called a Trifoliate or Whorlled Phyllotaxy plant, it's hard to tell from the pics you've put up. What usually happens is the leaves grow in opposite alternate pairs ie each leaf grows opposite each other and then turns 45 degrees and goes up a node and grows another alternate pair. In Trifoliates or WP plants, instead of two leaves growing opposite each other, three leaves grow from three separate nodes and still turns 45 degrees and moves up a node and grows another three leaves. I had one as a clone in my last grow, photo attached. You can clearly see the WP plant on the left.
Whorlled Phyllotaxy is a growth disorder and most WP's grown from seed turn out to be male, although some can be female. Of those that turn out female about 20% will produce a larger yield, 20% a reduced yield and about 60% an average yield.
It's nothing to worry about at all, just keep a close eye on it for signs of sex.
well hopefully I'm having some good luck on this and it turns out female and with a better yield. but my luck typically isn't that good. Its intriguing and fun to grow none the less. I love oddballs seems I always end up with something out of the ordinary. oh and good to have you around man.Yeah I'll be stickin around.
Quick search on your condition brings up this. No idea how accurate it is
I've only had this happen on one plant before and it was an unknown seed so I can't really say how yield was effected but it didn't seem amazingly good or bad, few oz from what I remember.
yeah I did topped at the third node when I had 6 sets. It has five tops now. I'm guessing the odd number is from the trifoliism. It will probably get topped a couple more times before may. just out of work? time to smoke a doobie man. What were you working on today?top that fucker wit 3 leaves!! you'll see massive buddage!! .....jus done workin!!
Yeah I do too the funny thing is the trifoil thing only shows up every other node so my thought is that if I cut off a regular node I should get three more new tops.nice!! hope she's a girl and has massive buds!! did carbs on a vt750dc/honda shadow spirit and carbs on a 99 katana 750 and doin custom front forks and rear tire on a 78 gs1000 suzi !!
yeah well there is supposed to be I higher success rate and faster rooting with those. the other one was pretty much just perlite and potting soil 50/50 ratio. I didn't use any rooting hormone for either just cut it and stuck it in.good job bro. hopefully the bubbler will root too.
how long does it take usually? its been in there for about 5 days now plain water no humidity dome. hasnt wilted or anything and the leaves appear to be growing slowly.my aero cloner makes a pretty quick job of rooting. best thing i ever built.
using plain water? I'll go back and check them out.mine takes 5 or 6 days root. those journal pics i put up of my cloner and the roots are at ten days.
