Plant doesnt look healthy

My plant is growing nice and fast.. but the leaves are getting yellow and brown spots on them as if the plant isnt healthy.

I have aerogarden delux, using tap water, and a small fan.

Tips on what might be causeing this?

too much nutes used? Hard to say w/o pics. always go light on the nutitrients until you figure out what she'll take.

hey this happened to me when when water with nutes splashed on the leaves. though they continued to grow an inch a day check out this link for pics. it's one of the first ones (after the ads at the top.)

Sorry i dont have a digital camara right now so i cant provide actual pics but i will try to track something down on the internet that looks like it.

I havnt used any neutriants untill a couple days ago, i added one tablet that came with the aerogarden. Since then its been growing a lot faster, but not too sure if that is what is causeing the unhealthy looking leaves. What about PH level of the water? ive been reading a lot about that, how do i test it and control it if need be?

Get a pH meter at your local pet store, now! I am willing to bet that is your problem...

This is a nutrient availability chart.

for soil grows, 5.9-6.5 ph is ideal, for hydro, 5.9-6.3
i got my ph tester at a local hydroponics store for under $30

okay the water tested to be 5.2! how can i make the water more alkaline?
