CFL or HPS

Hey hows it going new guy here.i have a question im using compact floro for veg should i switch to hps for flowering?

Depends on your SPACE... Can your space handle the heat of an HPS? if not can you provide ventilation?

they put out alot of heat...make sure you can keep that in check..but its well worth it.

my 600 watt HPS runs at 65 degrees with a 6" exhaust fan. i have to heat my room.

it's in a 3 x 6 room but i have it off to one side. i am flower 16 plants in a 3 x 3 area. my next run i will put it on a mover and use the whole 3 x 6 area. the roof is 6'. i keep my ballast OUTSIDE the room.

thanks. i was wondering if i purchesed 2 75w hps flood lights and put them on moving rails about 2 foot apart and suplemented with like 8 2bulb 40w 4' lights and some cfls if that would be enough light for a 24 plant garden in a 5'x5'x8' roomthey would only have 2 weeks veg time from clone before put into flower. i want to grow with the ebb and flow system if htat makes a differents

i'd just get a 1000 watt HPS. blow up some BIG colas.

all the lights ive looked at are around $400 i can afford maybe 200 i want to do a perpetual harvest so i would be harvasting about every 2 weeks

230 for my 600, and she's cooler than hell, if u want to see the greens get the hps

yeah i am copletley going with the hps, im stimm gonna use some floros wor side lighting and vegging but im gonna get a 400w hps thank all of you for the great advise

hps during veg = stretch factor! (grab some flos for veg son, the kind of light they emit won't stretch yo shit, HOLLA)
