Is this a magnesium deficiency?

Is this a magnesium deficiency? It looks a little like nute burn, but I haven't fed them any nutes yet other than what is in the FoxFarm Ocean Forest Soil.

Good question, as i too would like to know the answer...2-3 of mine out of 15 have done the same thing @ 8 days old...they are autos in a 50/50 mg seed starter/mg sphagnum peat moss mix...thinking about using some epson salts
 
yes you can get it at home depot/lowes. i usually just sprinkle some on top of my soil and just water through it.
 
Ok I added a tablespoon of dolomite lime to that plant only and watered it in. Hopefully that will put a stop to it. :bigjoint:
 
it's a tablespoon per GALLON of water....I did this 2 days ago and the 2 affeted plants color is returning slowly as well as overall vigor
 
dude, have you checked your pH? you can get spots like that if the ph is too high. You should know exactly what your ph is before you do ANYTHING as ph problems can mimic the symptoms of nute burn.
 
I completly agree! But it also will do this if the ph is to low, < which was my problem..[my medium is a 60/40 mg seed starter/mg spugauhm peat moss mix, which has a very neutral/low, {acidic} ph..] .
Look like that watering with the lime is working
 
So now I have a couple leaves that look like this on the same plant...

What should I try? Do you still think it is a calcium deficiency?
