Dam it:o, A week ago I put im my 150 watt red cfl in my 2x2x3 grow box in place of my 150 watt veg cfl. Came back several hrs later to check the temps an it was way to hot in there, 105.

The new red 150 is way hotter than the blue one. I just figgured they would run about the same lol. FAIL!:wall:

It was flowering prety good for the first week, but now no new flowers an growth is just kinda stoped. Got my temp down with some smaller cfls asap.

The top inch of my 10 inch Red dwarf is burned. The rest of the plant looked droopy for a few days, but pulled out. I killed the flowers an leafs off the top inch of the plant nearest to the light.

Is it over for the dwarf?:?:

Do you guys think it will start flowering agian?:?:

Anyone with knowledge in this area please respond?

I burned one of my plants pretty badly with a 400w HPS. The burned cola developed a scarlike mass of leaf at the top, never did bud like it should. There was still bud underneath though - just nothing like it should have been.

Yeah regular plants will just be stunted , but for an auto this could be disaster!

I heard autos stessed like this may just decide its the end of their life cycle an die.

Check your temps folks, dont assume anything. Learn from my pain.

Woooo hooooo, i definatly see new flowers an growth again.

This red dwarf has survived the 50 degrees for week with no ill effects, an got burned.

But she is as tough as i am careless, lol.
