Hey fletch,
Thanks for the help on helping me to find a suitable light. I din't go with the 600 watt but went with the 1000 watt because I just got the o.k. today. I'm so glad I waited.

So I just won my auction and got myself a Sun System 6 MH/hps switchable ballast with the reflector, bulbs and all. It even has a built in timer. All for $227

I would have gone to where you suggested but they often don't ship to Canada or if they do we get nabbed an extra 35% so even if I got a GREAT deal, the gov't gets ya in the end.

by adapter fitting it may mean a flange is already installed, or there is an flange adapter sold seperately so that you may hook up some ducting to a inline booster fan

I'm sorry - i was just teasing about the difficulty. it is very simple - as soon as you see it you'll know exactly what you need to do.

the light i have is pricey - I saved awhile before i picked mine up but haven't looked back since.
