Thanks for the help on helping me to find a suitable light. I din't go with the 600 watt but went with the 1000 watt because I just got the o.k. today. I'm so glad I waited.
So I just won my auction and got myself a Sun System 6 MH/hps switchable ballast with the reflector, bulbs and all. It even has a built in timer. All for $227
I would have gone to where you suggested but they often don't ship to Canada or if they do we get nabbed an extra 35% so even if I got a GREAT deal, the gov't gets ya in the end.
So thanks again for your help Fletch.

It doesn't look difficult. I LOVE the one you have email. Thats REALLY nice but I just couldn't afford it. I liked the price of this and since hubby was paying for it I didn't want to get greedy.

by adapter fitting it may mean a flange is already installed, or there is an flange adapter sold seperately so that you may hook up some ducting to a inline booster fan

the light i have is pricey - I saved awhile before i picked mine up but haven't looked back since.
