Question about hubby's Plant!

My husband bought a baby plant from the canabis club it was maybe 6 inches tall when we got it, possibly a tad smaller. Now the sucker is nearly half my size, maybe two feet plus, or jsut about two feet tall! But there arent any butds. Then again I am no expert, so what the world does a bud look like when fresh? And when can he expect them to appear? I think its been in our house a little over 2 months. It grows taller and taller each week, but no buds! Help!:spew:

Top it now so it will stop growing so tall. Then put it under 12/12 lighting. It is very important it gets 12 hours of light and 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness a day, this is what triggers it to bud.

Congrats on becoming a mommy! and welcome Iblaze is right about the light. It needs 12/12 of red spectrum light in case you didn't know. But also some strains just take longer....maybe it'll be ready after the baby comes!

Thank you for the welcome! Im a frequent user of message boards so I figured it smart to try one for this, there is a message board for EVERYTHING! I have no idea waht sort of strain it is, I didnt even know there was a strain. The name of the plant is either arctic sun or atomic haze or arctic haze or atomic sun. And hes using a ordinary high watage floodlight for outdoors.

Its outside? Get rid of that floodlight, if your in the US its natural budding time. Just leave it outside without any lights shining on it at night.

And buds just look like little flower buds with white hairs sticking out of it.

Congrats and have fun growing.

i think what you should do is go to a bookstore and sit and read through a couple very thin (like 70-100page) grow books in the "herbal gardening" section, the little books like "easy marijuana gardening" by ed rosenthal are a 20 minute read and they will explain the hole thing in a nut shell.

but then again so will the FAQ that fdd sent you too.
