First grow, need help.

Hello everyone! Happy tokes!

I've just purchased 5 seeds of feminized Early Skunk and 2 seeds of feminized Lemon Skunk. I'm basically wondering what I should do, should I germinate them and then transfer them to grow site? The grow site is quite a hike and I have to mountain bike to the forest and then hike in, and I can't start them at my house because I live in an urban city. I'm just going to be planting them in the ground, should I bother germinating them or should I just plant them in the ground? And from seed to veg how often should I be watering them? And what supplies should I buy before planting my seeds? And is waiting until the first of May to late to plant, I live in Ontario, Canada.

Sorry about all the questions, I'm a complete noob, all help is appreciated! :)

Well first of all sense you bought the seeds why dont you go buy sum bags of miricle grow at least and if you dont want to buy pots dig a hole and fill it with your soil. you would do much better. Also I would buy some ph down and a 5 gallon bucket to water your plants. Thats just my opinion.

youll have much higher germination and servival rates if you can start them off at home
I agree I would get them going in 5 gallon buckets and then before you put outside for good start them off with few hours of real sun then back inside for the day then work your way up to entire day in real sun then two or three days at a time and keep an eye on it. You dont want to just toss an indoor plant outside in the real sunlight all at once it may stress the plant especially if you have been bullshitting with some cfl bulbs. Ease them into the real sunlight then go for it, dig a hole and put your soil in the hole and then plant so its above ground for wet areas and below ground with a mound around it for dry areas to keep water inside if it rains and contain it better if you lug water someplace far

just germinate them at home and carry them in like a plastic ziplock container or a glass jar in a backpack or something. then plant on-site

How would I start them at home? I don't have a very large budget to put into growing these plants. I would probably have to use CFL's. Could you give me some directions on how to use the cfls and some do's and don'ts? And how and at what time should I transport them into the forest? (in a backpack?)

I appreciate the help guys.

Im not sure if you got a walmart out there in canada im from the bay. but anyways go to wall mart and they sell the 4 foot florescent light make sure you buy the aquarium bulbs. all together it is 25 dollars leave the light on for 24/7 they dont branch out as much as if you used a hps or metal halide but they get nice and healthy. only thing is you better get going on whatever your going to do cause if your starting from a seedling your probably going to miss this season

You're gonna want to do your research instead of relying on people to tell you what to do step by step.

Is there any way I can just get the soil ready at the grow spot, transfer the germinated seeds to the grow site and plant them in the soil and put some sort of protective casing around each plant until they are established? I just don't think I'll be able to start the plants in my house or in my backyard.

you could just dig holes big enough for a trash bag in the grow site and put the bag in the ground with soil in it. and then transfer the plant into the soil.. if you do do this make sure you poke holes in the bag for water to leak through.
