dude thats awesome if i had to choose id rather grow it than smoke it lolLately, i've been just planting them outside, no indoor vegging. I only grow for my brother and me so not too worried about yeild.
lol i didnt even know there were endangered plants thats pretty cool. yeah im thinkin about my next one already and im growin some catnip for the cats haha they love it!!Are you planning out your next grow already? I grow alot of different plants I love growing shit! I even grow endangered plants.
hey man thanks alot for the view and response man, i am indeed bitten by the grow bug!!! i have clone gel and intend to attemo to clone before the plant is done. the thing is the big longer branches at the bottom already have white hairs so will they keep flowering ????? should i just clone and repot them for a whole nother plant?? man that would be great!!!!! please stay tuned in !!!!YEAH! Anyone remember "REDMAN's $13.26 grow"? Kingdavid, You got bit by the grow bug. Great 2nd attempt, almost identical my 2nd (this first failed). Simple, If I could offer anything, it would be to ADD MORE LIGHT. As is, you will prob pull a fat 1/2 or 3/4 O, when dried. Double the light, stagger the heights to get some light right up to those big fan leaves at the bottom to increase production. With CFL, ideally each leaf would have a lightbulb half an inch away. Should you feel inclined to try again after this grow, check out scrogging, it is a very good way to maximize CFL lighting, and will allow you to veg for a while in a simiar space, creating more budsites. This is another rec: Practice cloning. I wish I had with my second grow, instead of waiting. Buy some cloning gel, read up on cloning on this sites FAQ or forums, and attempt to clone two of the large, stretched out bottom branches. They will yield maybe half a bowl between the two of them way down there, but if they take root, you are gonna have a another fat bag! Not too mention, if they fail, your out half a bowl, but on your your 3rd grow and 2ND cloning attempt. Its all about the process man
awesome man thanks for the compliment !!!!! the nutes im using are the only thing i could find around here (boondocks lol) ... i also like to mist the plant but i do it right before lights out so that it had no chance of gettin burned from my lights which i keep really close.. thanks for your two cents bro!!!!!hey king i have pretty much the same setup. in fact no offence everybody but this was one of the post i enjoyed reading the most. i got 3 girl under 4 clfs, they are only 20 watt, i didn't go with warm white... i went with whats called 6500K day light (donno is anybody used them but thats all the guy had at the store).
anyways i love the updates king. i got one suggestion (again sorry if i am wrong i am a newb) but your nutrients you said are 10/15/10 based on all the crap i read you should iether use a 30/30/30 throwout the whole plants life or something hight in N in the veg and then something high in k for flowering.
also i like to use a light mist of just plain water on the whole plant in the morning it really boosts growth
well thats my 2 cents.
thanks for lookin man i checked out ur grow very good job. this is my 2nd try at it the first ended miserably i just added another cfl for 104 total watts. i still think ill be fine, but what is considered the minimum for flowering???Nice plant so far, Im also doing bag seeds in 12/12 from seed but on a slightly different scale as far is CFLs go. Check it out and if you have any questions feel free to ask. Are you planning on adding any more light?
yeah I think you will be ok with 100 watts total and the configuration that you have, but you cant have enough light. The more lights the better with CFLs (I think 930 watts are still not enough on mine). If you can get at least something around the plant and taller than the lights, it might help to contain some of the light your loosing. Just leave the top open and get anything that is white and surround the plant and lights, like cardboard or something, It will make a huge difference.so here are the changes: added 1 more cfl warm white for a total of four (i also replaced the 6500k i strated the grow with with a warm white 2700k). i disassembled my lamps that were hanging and now am using just the cordsets from them. so tell me what ya think..... peace
ill have a complete growbox for my next grow.... but i did take your advice and constructed 1 wall of reflective material ill show it in the next set of flicks i post. thanks for the feedback manyeah I think you will be ok with 100 watts total and the configuration that you have, but you cant have enough light.
