is this possible? i was thinking of this aswell, seeing as the lamp can hold 300w and the hps/mh bulbs are like 150w.ima give it a shot, and depending if if the lamp can handle it, i may throw a MH buld in there also!
this is the one i want to use for the MH, but not sure if it can handle the wattage.
something tells me this wont work, or we'd all have hid lights for under 30bucks..???
will it?

You need a ballast and ignitor to run either of those bulbs I'm pretty sure. But I'm 100% sure that you can't run a MH/HPS off that puny little lamp. lol
