Around here some people pay as high as $40 a G for High-End Dank, of course those are the rich kids who everyone loves to rip off. On average you can get it for around $20-$25 a G. Which is about the average price throughout the entire country right now, from what I understand.

When I do buy, I only pay around $5-10 a G for High-End Dank, like GDP and Blackberry Kush. That only happens for me though because I am a grower, and when I run out of stash, cause I've sold it all, and come searching for the dank, the dealers I know will hook me up for cheap in hopes of getting a discount from me later on.

what your going to find is that price is completely dependent on a few factors. Recent busts in certain areas will have effects on other certain areas. i know my town goes through dryspells as well (i dont know if they are all growing on the same cycle or what, but sometimes ill plain go 2 weeks with no word from anyone, and then a week later i get 3 calls a day about a ton of weight needing to be moved).

sometimes around here i can get some badass stuff for around 50 bucks an eighth, and the mediocre stuff for 40 or 45. some peeps around here will say that its closer to 60 and 50 respectively, and i say bull, because the last factor ill mention is connections. its ALL in who you know.

Will you not smoke if it is anything other than "Purple Kush"? Is this the only source you have for any decent mj? There are plenty of good strains around and buying weed from someone ready to shoot his clientele seems a bit extreme. A might militant for a "pot" dealer. More like a meth head or something. Might start looking for other sources.
