Hi gang!
It's time for another medical marijuana report from closed4fishing.
Strain: JillyBean
Breeder: Subcool TGA
Grower: closed4fishing
Grow Info:
Popped 4 beans, only 1 female. Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil, FF Nutes (Grow, Tiger Bloom, Big Bloom). Vegged for 3.5 wks under 200W T5 and topped. Flowered for 8.5wks under 600W HPS. Dried for 7 days in 50% humidity then into jars for cure. Just over 2oz on this girl. Super dense nuggets.
Cure at time of smoke test:
21 days
Bag Appeal: A+
It will never see a bag but it is coated in trichs and the super red hairs are awesome.
Smell:
From 2wks in flowering on, she had a nice citrus smell. I wouldn't call it the creamsicle pheno, but it was definitely smelled of citrus with a bit of a creamy background that tickles the nose.
Taste:
I had heard that the JillyBean had an average taste however I really like it. It's got a great fruity punch with a nice aftertaste. I find myself smoking it for the taste sometimes.
Effect:
This is happy weed. It's not super put you out weed but instead it makes you feel content and relaxed. If you smoke too much or mix it with a more sativa smoke, it can get your head racing, but alone and in moderate quantities, it is highly uplifting. My back pains do seem better or at least less noticable when on JillyBean. Nice high. I've noticed both sativa and indica effects from this one pheno.
Possible Medical Uses
Insomnia (in high doses),
back/neck pain (low/medium/high doses),
Stress relief in small/medium quantities
Final Thoughts:
Very nice strain to grow. I topped it and it produced well. Easy to grow and great smoke. I'll be popping my other 6 beans soon
Questions? Just ask and I'll do my best to answer.
Hope you enjoyed my report. If you could spare a little +rep for a brotha, I'd certainly appreciate it.
