Growing Good Weed From Bad Seeds

Hi Everyone,
I'm new here and trying to soak up as much info as possible to maximize my grow. I got some STRESS seeds from my friend and they are now growing beautifully a lil over 1 month in. I've been taking care of them like a child and I was just wondering if that will effect the potency of the buds later. So basically, I know the genetic make-up of the seeds isn't anything compared kush, but I can certainly get these buds growing better & more potent than their mother's if I take care of them right?

Taking great care in the veg state does more for yield than potency, though it certainly won't hurt your potency. The strength of your product really comes from your care during the fruiting stage. My personal opinion is that if you've optimized your feeding and watering program, you'll get the best product and yield that way.

i am currently but got blessed with a bag seed of purp kush it is about 8 weeks old and beautiful just use ur flowering essentials bat gueno etc>>

i see what your asking and YES, if you get bagseed from some booboo and you grow it under the proper conditions (which we are assuming the bud it came from wasnt) then yes your new product should be much better then the bud where it originated.

I have grown some stress seeds hydroponically,I was pretty impressed by the end result....I did 5 different bag seed from mexican brick weed....all were from decent brick weed,a couple of friends said if it came from dirt it would be dirt, well I proved them wrong......all 5 came out way better than the smoke they came from...way better.....

No such thing as bad seeds; i recently did a grow using the seeds from the nastiest damn reefer I'd ever laid eyes on. Off-spring was one of the best I've laid eyes on.

I have seen seeds coming hermed plants that yielded nothing but very seedy bud because every plant was predisposed to herm. I guess you could overcome this using dutch masters reverse but I've never tried it.

I hate to argue (but I never let my personal feelings get in the way).
