How do you clone auto-flowering plants

I am about to buy Lowryder Purple Jems seeds. Now to my understanding they auto flower. So my question to anyone who has experience with this strain or any auto flowering strain is how do you clone them? Do you just keep them under 24hr light? Cause thats what I do to my clones and vegging plants and it works out just fine. But I read that those auto flowering plants can flower in 18/6 but can they do it in 24/24?

my understanding of autoflower was that no matter what you do that plats going to die after X many days... you can 16 hours of light, or 12/12 right away.. its going to just run its course and die, with stocks of sexy stank bud being all thats left.. but then again i have never done one so im willing to be elightened if someone else knows

i don't know how to break this to you but......you can't man! lol i forgot what the exact reason is , but thats just one of the couple cons of growing autos...sorry bro...Peace

ya the autoflowers are like a seasonal plant or something like that.. reguardless, its a 1 life plant... i heard put it at 12/12 and just let it go but id read up on auto's first

You cant. autoflowering plants are just that, you cant stop them from flowering and/or revert them.

think of them as missing the perennial gene that makes regular seeds and clones able to have more than one harvest and such.

Autoflowers are those which flower with age which are NOT dependent on a light cycle to do so. If u were to clone, you would end up with small plants, flowering based on original age of its mother. Its outcome, im unsure of. However, it mite may a nice project to take one seed and prune it into 3/4 plants and have sort of a screen of green. Possibly.....

But for traditional cloning means, you need to stick with plants w/o the ruderalis, or autoflowering trait

Thanks for all your reponse it was really helpful. Im gonna give them a shot, without tryin to clone of corse, and see how they turn out.
