howdy y'all I'm getting ready to start my outdoor grow and I have some clones vegging in my house right now...and I'm wondering-when do you recommend I put the ladies out under the sun? OH and I plan on using ocean forest, but I hear that it needs help with drainage, so what ratio would you recommend I mix it with perlite or FF light warrior or whatever else drianage supplements you say I should use.

thanks for the info man...you saved me there, I was getting ready to put them out there this in a week or two... yeah i had a shitty little clone out there in the normal soil and it was flowering and so i just snipped it, because you know it is never going to become much of anything...

I'd recommend a regional farmers almanac and the grow bible. You'll find everything you need between the two.

if you have a greenhouse; you should already have 'em out if you want a june harvest. I have 4 'babies'(3') waiting for the end of may; to go into holes-5' X5' X4' deep. I noticed that the higher the sativa, the quicker plants revert to veg'- when caught in spring flower. heavy indicas want to keep flowering... I'd put 'em out the last week of may if you want full season.

hillbilly- naw I'm growing em straight in the ground (in better soil of course) but I really want to get them out there since they're starting to get a bit big for their little pots- and yes they're sativas (headband, blue dream, and sour diesel, got em from the club)... how many hours of light do you think they'll need to stay vegging and not revert to flower? i got a light chart for my area so thats taken care of

If you want to save your self a LOT of heartache dont put them out yet. Toss them out now and they will go into bloom right away and be all fucked up. Sync up your lights with outdoors. I would turn on at 4 AM and off at 10 PM. That gives you a solid 18 hours of light so they start getting used to less light and are snycing with outdoors. Then drop to 17 hours for maybe a week then 16 hours, then outdoors may 1st-may 15th. Plants wont go to bloom until early august if done properly giving you a TON of veg time. If you really want to make sure they dont go into early bloom hook up a CFL on a timer to go on at 4 AM. Have heard from people much more experienced then myself that one 40 watt every ten feet will do the trick and give you a lot more security. If you want to be safe and arent going to use a light put them out in mid to late June. I have heard of lots of people putting out in June and still having them go full bloom when the lights arent synced up indoors first.

Good luck !

Way to give messed up advise, nice going

OP if you want advise of people who can help you listen to someone other then him ^^ Have had MANY different strains go full bloom when planted even in June if the lights are syned up and lights on time shortened. Put them out now and I guarantee then will switch and fuck up your yields BIG time. Clearly guys like the other poster really dont give a shit out you or I, that or they just havent a clue

Well I thru a couple of girls in the back yard bible says goodluck on reversing a flowering girl into a clone. Says hormones rule too much says you need to shock em like 24/7 of light to get them to revert. So I would think the same with vegging. Sure if something breaks or starts new area might revert there? They want to finish what is natural in spite of the street lights. So I will find out about this wifes tale B.S in about 6 weeks. Was gonna toss out two more out of the veggin room and keep on chiggin till July and then stay in from there till March. Wash rinse repeat and so on.
