Hello RIU, im trying to do an out door grow with pots, i was gonna use Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil in the plant, all the way through, for water i was just gonna mount a water bottle with destilled water and poke a little whole at the bottom and just let it grow.

what you think of this?

how big of a bottle? plants can drink a lot over the course of 3 months. would be better with filtered city tap water instead of distilled water. also pot size is going to matter a lot too. big pot with just 1 drip location may not feed all sides of the plant. maybe expanding on your thoughts would help...

lol. never gunna work bro.

no matter what you do your gunna have to water them personally.

what are you gunna do when it dont rain?

and dont use pots. put them in the ground. more root space = bigger plants and the ground holds natural moisture so you dont have to watter nearly as much

I would suggest splitting up those seedlings so they don't get overcrowded, easy to remove on if its a male, andso the roots dont bind together. Also you should put them in the ground instead of in pots, unless you plan on moving around throughout the season.

It all depends on how big the containers are.I had a fewWhite Widow/Bigbud in only 15 gallon containers.Over half pounders.
I prefer in the ground, but know of guys growing in huge containers like a 44 gallon drum.Produces massive plants.

Wait till it has 7 leaves? Isnt that the 3rd node i believe? By then your too plants will already be tangled together and cutting/ripping the roots will stress them. Remember that the roots grow really fast aswell. I would say split them up in a day or 2 because any longer and they will tangle probabally. You could replant them in party cups, those should work just fine until the 7 leaves come.

As for the watering, correct me if i am wrong anyone, but doesnt marijuana grow better if you water wait for the soil to dry out then water again? I belive thats how it should be instead of constantly keeping the soil moist.
