looking to start my first shroom grow?

For a beginner doing a small/medium grow, I would recommend going with the Golden Teacher strain of Cubensis. Fairly easy to grow, and great potency. I get all my spores from Ralphsters Spores, and they haven't let me down yet.
I would recommend getting your spores now, before summer gets here, as the extreme heat inside delivery trucks during summer can often kill the spores during transport. Check out Shroomery.org as well, for all the info you could ever need. Peace out, and good luck to you.

i have a cool dark basement with a dirt floor(wild mushrooms grew in there last year on there own),and i have a couple refrigerators and a deep freezer i can modify if that's something i can use? i have some plastic totes but i can buy what ever i need to get started?
i need to find some open mouth jars, a good grow guide, a material list, a strain ,and a place to buy from?

cracked corn is doable, but a pain in the ass and generaly considered out dated. ( cooking the cracked corn is an art to do it just right) Either start with the pf tek and follow it to the T, or do a wild bird seed grown spawn- then to bulk or a simple growbag spawn to bulk....google and shroomery...all you need.
ps, you mentioned you have a cool dark basement,Thats not optimal for cubensis grows, these shrooms actually need light , high humidity, and allthough being tripical species, actualy do just fine at room temp, and those wild mushrrom spores could cause havoc at some point.
and i alwase reccomend using shroomery vendors for spores. they hold the bar high for their vendors so you know u can trust'em

i have a lot of cracked corn but if the brown rice mix or some thing else is easier i'm all about doing this easy for the first time . i was thinking the pf tek method with Alacabenzi from Spores101. what is the best temp/humidity level ? thanks for any help i would like to make this work out good my first try thats why i came here to ask questions , and did not just look around and get started.i am hoping some one has an easy way to get good results first/ every time?

Order the shrooms that require the least amount of mushrooms for the effects. That way when your friends eat an eight, they really go bonkers. =-)

Besides Penis Envy strain, A cubes a cube, ofcourse with any naturally growing thing, it can vary spore to spore, flush to flush, or even mushroom to mushroom.
But pan cyans are another species of psilocybin producing shrooms and 1 gram of those is equal to an eighth of cubes. They are not AS easy to grow as cubes, so therefore not usually recommended for 1st time growers.
As far as vendor goes, any one of the shroomery sponsors are good, they are all checked out and screened.
