Ughhhhhhh.... STILL working on it man.. gettin closer tho.. only got about 3 1/4 more branches.... But.. then I still have all those lil popcorn buds to do too. =/ there alotta them too. =/

This is taking wayyyyyyy longer than I expected... watt longer. but like every 5 min.. i gotta scrape all the shit off my scissors into the trimmings bucket. theres sooo many crystals soo after a trim some of the bud.. the scissors start gettin stuck together.. pieces of leaves and buds get stuck on there.. ughh. lol. I should have a good amount of trim to make hash with.. =) this will be my 1st hash attempt. =)

Just updatin you guys... hopefully be done soooooon

yeaaa, im sure u can man.. this is only my 2nd grow.. I did the same thing too.. my 1st grow was some bagseed.. wasnt too bad.. had a hemrie problem tho.. and didnt fix it.. soo my buds ended up being loeaded with seeds... =/ soo just a warning.. if you find a hermie.. pull it ASAP!

yeaaa, the scissors work great!! They just get sticky very fast.. sooo keep a razor with you so you can scrape all the resin and shit off the scossors.. or they will just keep gettin stuck 2gether...; thats wat happened to me.

and yeaa, sum1 else said that to me b4 too... and posted a pic of the cat on this thread.. the cat was fat tho.. lol.. but it did look EXACTLY like man.. Thats crazy!

\I Love my cat. (Tom a.k.a. Tom-Tom) at my old house.. the ppl who lived upstairs moved out.. adn left him in the hallways.. adn i would feed him everyday on my way to work.. and eventually.. after a few days.. i felt bad.. adn took him in.. and have had him ever since.. that was about 3 years ago... =)

he only really likes me tho.. he doesnt let any1 else pick him up.. or pet him for too long... lol. its kinda funny.

Yeaaa, cant wait for it eitehr.. Ihad te fan blowing IN the tv box to dry them.. but they seemed to be drying wayyyy too fast.. =/ its only been 2 days, and alot of the buds are pretty dry on the outiside.. like almost crisp already.. adn its only been 2 days!!

Soo i got worried.. and I flipped the fan around.. soo the it blowing OUT. I figured that way the air wouldnt be circulating as hard as it was.. adn they would dry a little slower.

I know i've asked this a fwe times already.. but havent got a response yet.. does any1 know wether its better to have the fan blowing IN or OUT? and if i was to keep the fan blowing IN.. would it be normal for the buds to be dried within like 4 days??

soo heyy. do you know if its better to have the fan blowing IN or OUT? I think if I was to keep it blowing IN.. they would be dry in like 3-4 days.. (so by like sat.) is that normal?? I know the Main Cola isnt gonna be.. cuz its one of the only ones that isnt like... "crispy" yet. just figured i'd ask ya

kk. thanks. yeaaa, I just did sum research on google.. and of course.. i have a 50-50 chance of having the fan the right way.. and I had it the wrong way. (blowing in). I thought it made sense too, but they say doing that blows TOO much air.. and dries them wayy too fast.. which is what my buds did. =/ All the buds that i cut on Tuesday are madd crispy already.... >=/ just checked them.. and they are very crispy already.. and kinda hard almost... =( the one I did yesterday are fine.. theyre a lil dryer.. but still moist. I just switched the fan.. soo now its blowing OUT.. adn im just gonna hope the buds that arent crispy yet.. dry a lil slower.

i took out all the buds that were crispy.. adn put them into jars for now.. i know there gotta be some moisture still locked inside.. adn my plan is that the moisture's gonna come out.. make them extra moist again.. adn then I can "re-dry' them... the right way.. and then cure them all together.

i will share my limited curing experience
way better too dry than too wet, i lot a bit of bud to mold during my 1st cure
i let the next batch air dry for about 2 weeks, no fans, that cure is real good
it's tough to get the feel, but it is sweet when you get there

thanks. adn yeaaa, thats a good point too. better too dry than too wet. Im sure by 2morow.. the buds in the jars will be moist again.. and i will let them dry out again.. a little slower this time.. I made the hole in my drying box bigger.. soo that the "pull" from the fan on the other side isnt too much.

Yeaa, I lost like 5 grams to mold my last grow as well.. just completely forgot about it..... lol. then found it one day on accident... mann... it was nastyyy. lol

I don't use a fan when drying it makes it dry too fast. I use a hamper and put strings on it and hang the buds on one of the strings. the back of the hamper has slits in it so it gets some fresh air. A cardboard box will do the same as the hamper, but i would not use the fan. Just my opinion. looks great though.
I haven't been on as much as normal because my mom had her breast cancer surgery, and I take care of her. Its been crazy here with nurses and social workers. Just glad my room is on the other side of a very big house, and upstairs. When I go to work all day, when I come home I can smell it growing guess my next toy has to be a carbon filter lol Nice job on your grow!

Just wondering, why does it matter how fast the buds dry? Why is it bad if they dry too fast, like with the fan blowing on them?
I know that drying using an oven is supposed to be bad for the buds but that involves heat- this is just air...?

One of the ways the Grow Bible suggests to dry is in a freezer with dry ice! It says that the dry ice will absorb the moisture from the bud and dry quicker, evenly and with less damage to the trichs. I haven't read anything about that on the board though... LOL, sounds mad scientist to me!
