**Nirvana's Feminized White Widow CFL Grow**

Just wondering, why does it matter how fast the buds dry? Why is it bad if they dry too fast, like with the fan blowing on them?
I know that drying using an oven is supposed to be bad for the buds but that involves heat- this is just air...?

One of the ways the Grow Bible suggests to dry is in a freezer with dry ice! It says that the dry ice will absorb the moisture from the bud and dry quicker, evenly and with less damage to the trichs. I haven't read anything about that on the board though... LOL, sounds mad scientist to me!

Its all about taste! The faster the bud drys the harsher it will be. The longer the smoother! I hang dry for 5-10 days then paper bag it for a few then jar it for 3 weeks. Every time I learn something new and it just keeps getting better!

i don't know how the quick dry affects high, but the long cure and high is a topic in itself
many growers speak to the large improvement in high from a long, slow cure

Yeaa, thats what its all about... taste and smoothness. I have been checkin the buds every few hours.. and they are now very moist again.. soooo right now I have them in the jars still, with the top open. gonna let'em dry out a lil more.. then close the top again.... then check again.. then let'em dry again.. adn then keep them curing after that.

the other buds are still hangin in the box.. I shut off the fan.. and have a different fan aiming towards the hole where the fan is.. but its not that close to it.. just figured that will create a small breeze. Gonna give'em a couple more days.. then jar them up. and then after that, bus out the scale and do the final weigh in. =)

Im really curious to see what the final dry weight is!

And yea, I realized that there was a bunch of Tiger Wood's articles in the newspaper I had covering the table during my trimming session. lol. I kept gettin carried away and reading them as well while I was trimming.

Woooooo.. man this stuff is POWERFUL!! lmao. A few hours ago, me and my girl smoked a lil joint... Well, I took a few hits, and she smoked the rest, lol. But mannnn!.... we were playin Borderlands on the XBOX 360.. and idk.. I was high as shit. As i said before.. very very giggly and stuff... and then really talkative as well. It deff made the game a lot more fun to play as well. =) I got wayyyyy to into it. I had a little bit this morning too, and started playing Fallout 3.. that was fun!

But after we played for about an hour or so.... deff time for a nap. planned on a 20 minute nap.. and woke up 2 hours later. lol.

By the way.. the taste is really good now too. Im happy about that. Its not harsh at all... and it taste GREAT!! It's weird.. it tastes EXACTLY how it smells. =) I am VERY happy with it.. VERY happy. =)

Thanks man.. yeaa, wish I could send ya a lil nug man. its only been curing for 1 day too. and 1/2 of th eweed that was rolled in the joint was only dried.. not even cured. lol. sooo its just gonna get better!

Glad its finally starting to have a smell!! idk if u read the whole journal or not.. but my plant didnt smell.... the whole grow!? I was kinda disappointed... but happy at the same time. since im young.. adn still live with my mom. she doesnt care, she takes care of it 4 me if i need her to.. but she jsut doesnt want the whole house to smell like weed. lol. but yeaa, now that its sittin in the jars.. i can start to smell it!! Mmmmmm. deff a wierd smell tho...? but its a good smell.

85.3 Grams! which comes out to 3.15 ounces EVEN!

Very happy with that.. I was thinkin an ounce an 1/2 right b4 I harvested.... and I got more than double that!

This weight includes everything. all the lil popcorn buds, which i finally finished trimming a couple days ago... and it included the 2.9 grams I had already tested/smoked. =)

Not bad for my 2nd grow... well.. I like to conmsider this my 1st "real" grow.. since my other grow was bag seeds from some bunk schwagg.. adn they both turned hermie.. adn I had to harvest them at week 7.. adn they were streesed like a mother fucker since my lights would constantly stay on all night during flowering.

Anywayz..... lol. just wanted to let you all know the final weight. 3 weeks vegg, 8 week flower.. and only CFL's... Who sais CFL's cant ge tthe job done...?

Now I gotta write up a message.. adn copy it... and go into my poll.. and send the message to everyone who checked off "you wont yield shit because you suck at growing.. etc." and brag about my 3+ ounce harvest... it just annoys me that people took the time to click on that answer.. lol. maybe I shouldnt have put it there... but i didnt think THAT many people would have checked it off...

Ok.. well, as most of you know.. I do have another White Widow plant growing.. sadly.. Im not sure of her "exact" age.. lol. about 3-4 weeks tho.. I have a sticker somewhere with the exact age.

I did "FIM" her.. or at least attempted to. lol. And I also have a clone that I took from the mystery plant from before. I am planning on sticking both of them in my closet to begin flowering within the next couple days. Just gotta set everything up for them.

i am going to start another journal for them... Probably gonna keep the same name pretty much.. but just add in "Mystery Plant" as well.

** Has anyone ever made Bubble Hash before...? I have read over the instructions on how to do it.. and plant on doing it within the next couple days as weel.. the trimmings are pretyt dry right now.. sooo i can do it basically whenever i want. =) But I was just wondering if anyone has any "hands on" experience with doing this?? If soo, got any tips for me? =)

I hear you man... I grow with CFLs as well, and ive have pretty good results. There is a bias against CFL but who cares like you said.. you are the one siting pretty with 3 ounces

But ya it was totally ment as a joke, i was waiting for this, when you said you were gana check names who clicked it i was going to say something but i figured it'd be funnier if i just let time work itself out. But ya man keep that shit curing and it will get better every week, it awesome. Ive been getting some stuff from my buddys recently cut down and once it was dry( bout 2 weeks ish) he started to get rid of it so i got a couple to stashed in some jars to cure for a month, i love dumping the jars out and getting the smell, and it gets better every time i open those jars. wassup chb444220 i wanted to say damnnnnnnn and congrats wid da awsome yield, and i wanted to ask you something. when you harvested your buds did dey still have some new white pistils poppin outta dem or were dey all brownish orange, cuzz my plants is 2 days after 8 weeks flowering and it still has new white pistils poppin out and da trichomes are milky white. heres some pics of the buds.

What was the other plant you were growing with this? The poll is how much weight for BOTH plants- I don't remember what else you were growin though.

thanks man. =) and yeaaa, when I harvested I did have a decent amount of white hairs left when I harvested.. but once they started to dry out.. you cant really notice thhem.

but then again.. my plaint was like.. on steroids.. and grew very very fast.. soo i think it finished earlier than a nrmal plant did.

When I used my scope.. i ahd amber trichs tho.. do u have any?? u should try usin molasses if u can for the last week or so. it will fatten up ur buds.

ur buds are looking nice tho. but i think they might need to go a lil bit longer.

the other plant was the "Mystery Seed" i got from nirvana.. but it wasnt growing well.. soo i killled it off.

I am growing another one of the mystery plants tho. i will make a new journal for that plant and the new white widow plant. =)
