people say sum pretty dumb shit.

but whatevs. The main reason for war IMO is to reduce the human population for 1, and gain and preserve power for 2. Its crazy that the human race is so severly over populated.

Notice nowhere in the pole does it give an option for numerous or complex causes. Nope, it has to be a single, simple cause. I guess when you have a simplistic one track mind, that is how you perceive the world.

War is not profitable. Certainly not modern warfare.
Perhaps. KBR and Halliburton have made great money doing the catering for our wars (pls read as sarcasm). Surely the manufacturers of weapons, vehicles, uniforms, MREs can't be hurting from war (unless their plant is in the war zone, which means they are probably on the losing side).

Ahh, but the question is... is war profitable? The answer to that is no. Does profit occur in the overall loss.... certainly.

But that's like blaming US Steel for making money building tanks during WW2.

It is needed. If you are going to go around and add up all the nickels and dimes, then you shouldn't go to war, ever. Just submit to the next aggressor.

Also, if you are going to count nickels and dimes ...make sure you count everyone. Don't just cherry pick the ones on ur own personal popularity contest.

Dude, you get your ass handed to you in every single poll I make. Clearly you're the one with the misguided opinions, not the whole rest of the fuckin' world.

You say "it's just a stoner forum" - lets see you make a poll where the majority agrees with the obviously superior in every way intellect of RickWhite.

Obviously everyone's just stupid and you're the only smart, educated one among us...

I'm convinced you're a creationist. Only they are capable of walking around denying reality like you do, and the Hitler comment you made... epic fail.

War is profitable to the few at the cost of the many.

It is wrong for people to make money off other peoples death.

If you disagree with either of those statements, there's no point in even discussing anything further.

No, it isn't.... so you can use it.... it suits your pattern...

There isn't any clear and defining reason for war....but unless a nation occupies a land long term and drains that land of it's wealth.... war isn't profitable...at all.

The event is not profitable, but the long term goal of regional stability (which is the USA maxim) , stability brings prosperity to all involved long term.

No one goes to was to make money.... because that simply never occurs. War is a big expense.... it has always been so.
