I will vouch big time for the KM x AK47. A few years back my Mom did 23 of these outside and it was a great success. They went in the ground (like 2x2 or 3x3 holes with Fox Farms Ocean Forest) like early-mid May when plants were about 6"-12". We topped them once right after they got used to being in the ground and then just let them go. Around like mid-late June we had somewhat of a security issue..not gonna go into too many details but we had to dig up every single plant and move them accross the street (picture a half dozen people carrying 2-3 ft tall plants, dangling dirty rootmass and all, accross a two lane country highway). Surprisingly, once in their new homes they adjusted really well and once they started growing they never looked back
She used those 5 or 6 foot baboo stakes to hold 'em up and tie onto. We fed them basic Fox Farms nutrients following suggested amounts - Grow Big, Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom.
I mostly helped with the harvest/cleaning portion, but I do remember this plant had really hearty side/lateral branches and seemed to only want to grow OUT just as much as UP. The plants were all about 5 or 6 feet in height and at least 4 feet wide. She eneded up pulling like 40 or 42 pounds, something like that off of 23 plants. Not bad for her first year.
As far as buds, they were nice long fat lime green nugs that I always told people had a spicy smell and a sweet flavor. Like if you squeezed a bud hard or broke it open it was more sweet and floral. Sadly and against my advice, she harvested a couple weeks early because of rain, and besides the bud looking kinda preemie (all white hairs/trichs) the smoke wasn't really as potent as we would've liked.
All things said, I would grow the strain again in a heartbeat if I could get clones. If we would've let it go full season I bet it would have chunked way up and been some amazing smoke. Wow this is a long post.. sorry for rambling. Blunts of Af-Wreck make me chatty. Good luck with the grow my man and peace RIU!
