I finished giving them a 5 day de-tox and they have started to take off again. I've got some awesome colas now which should double in size in the next three weeks before harvest. My mix this week is 15ml DM MAX flower, 15ml DM Potash +, 15ml Bloom A+B and 10ml veg A+B to 10L. Next week I'll cut the veg nutes out entirely as the bottom leaves are still looking fine with no (N) deficiency.

I overcooked the DWC system but its bounced back and they've started growing again. The roots were a bit brown above the waterline but they're nice and white again. I'm thinking of setting up drippers on top of the DWC system as the nets are looking really dry.

My electrics are starting to get really messy. My 3 light circuts consist of;
1. 400w MH
2. 400w HPS
3. 7x 26w spiral CFL, 1 x 36w dual baton, 10" fan and radio.

My irrigation circut consists of;
3 x dual output aerators, 700lh water pump, and a 90w water heater. There are cords running everywhere. I really need to invest in a more efficent (safer) electrical system next grow.

The end is drawing near. My crop is fattening up nicely with only two and a half weeks till I start chopping. The buds look so good right now. I'm amazed at the crystals forming on the fat ass buds. There are a few arm sized colas already. I'm going to try and not spend any more money on the system until next crop. I'll be ordering seeds soon which should give me something else to be paranoid about. I'm still un-decided on weather to keep at hydroton based hydroponics or full blown DWC (or NFT). Depending on how much I harvest I may invest in a 600w MH and change the current 400w MH over to HPS when I flower next. I've been taking buds off the mother slowly to keep my intake happy (fuck paying for it) and she seems to be taking it in her stride. I'm not overly worried about doing damage to her as she is way to big and has far too many growing tips for her own good. The PK 13/14 worked wonders, almost doubling the size of the colas. After careful consideration I've decided to go a complete Canna regime next grow. They seem to have their shit sorted.

• Some of the buds are coke can sized now with the largest one being almost as big as my arm.

• I sprayed them over with some flowering hormones the guy at the hydro shop recommended to me. He said that its great that I have bug buds but they would probably be too fluffy and light. I drenched them in 140ml of "budda burst" which he said would pack on the weight and make those big furry buds into solid nugs (hopefully).
• I'm unsure as to weather I should use another swelling additive or just keep them on DM potash plus until harvest.

• I've decided to harvest all of the smaller plants and keep flowering for another 2 weeks to get the under story to mature.

• I'm hoping for 10 to 16 ounces in total off this grow but bag appeal will be a driving force in the next 2-4 weeks.

• I'm thinking that from the few "test buds I've been picking over the last two weeks that this strain are still really potent even after 7 clonings and 2 re-growths. I'm not going to order new seeds for the next grow and instead try to keep the strain alive for one last grow.

• I'm hoping that friends that I've given past clones to have still got some earlier genetic material still going so I can keep the strain strong or maybe I can find a nice male to pollinate the mother so I can have a fresh batch of seeds from this awesome unknown strain.

I'm going to re-veg the mother for one last hit after I harvest. I'm going to have a crack at DWC SOG but still use my existing hydroton system for a few monsters. After three years I think I'm getting the hang of Hydroponics, but DWC is only very new to me. I'm going to invest in a 600w digital HPS after I finish these babies off. I've been told that they are pretty much the best light available as far as lumens per watt goes. I will keep the existing 2m X 2m space but just drop the 600 in vert right in the middle. It will also mean I can get rid of those crappy 26w CFL's I'm using now for the dark spots.

I'm trying to decide between Canna or CyCo for next run as I'm not getting good results from mixing and matching different brands.

Goin vert! hell yes, i like it.. although im a 1000watt man, ive done all the reading on the 1000vs600 to last me a lifetime, i sorta made my final decision via Al.B,.. that dude had the proof in the pud,..and wen he goes digi then i will too,.. i think he worked out the only practical benefit was the saved elec, but with the outlay on new electronic ballasts, it takes something like years to earn back wot u spent in savings..
ur space would be better suited for a 1000 too bro, 4x4 is normal, 5x5 is maxing out, and i think ur space is a tad bigger then that..
yeh ive never mixed n matched nutes bro, too confusing,.. i jus stick to base nutes and pk13/14 in flower, no expensive sauces..
i reckon ull be right with either/or

I'm going to run the 600 with the two 400's as sidelights so there will be 1200w for 6.5 feet. If I made them into an oval I could almost get away with dropping all three in vert. Next time I want to try growing plants without topping or pinching them and see how tall I can get this strain to grow. I've always grown low bushy plants but I'm sure I can get some height out of them if I left the main tip intact. I'm jealous of the football sized main cola I see on some un-tipped plants.

The CFLs and fan turn on 15 minutes before the MH & HPS just to let them wake up a bit before the lamps come on. The two HIDs start up within a minute of each other to lessen the load on start up. I've had a few timers die on me so I spread it out now.

yeah right i supose that makes sense having so many lights come on at once wouldnt want to blow a fuse
only reason i asked was cause if i have multi things at the same time i use 1 timer then run powerboard from timer

It took me about 4 hours straight trimming on the last pound. My hands were like claws afterwards. Its a really leafy strain when I mix a MH with the HPS. When It was just 2 X 400w HPS they didn't have anywhere as many leaves. I'm going to crop them twice, once in 10 days and then two weeks later. I'm going to have to take one plant out after the first harvest so I can prune it up and re-grow it to clone. I'm starting to tie up the larger buds as someone (riddleme?) said to do in you help thread.
I can't wait to see how much the big cola is going to weigh. If it's over an Oz I'll be happy but it looks like its going to be more. When I touch (LST, caress etc.) the colas and get resin on my fingers does the resin build back up or is it bad to touch the buds while they're growing? I love getting my fingers all sticky and being able to smell them for hours like a manual encounter with a new girl. ::

Man that's one I don't know the answer of! I myself try not to rub and squeeze too much bcos of the same fears,.. But thinking logically ud think they would just replace the broken trics,..

I worked as a viticulturist for about 5 years as a teenager and the tried and tested method was to cut at two nodes right before the bud burst. I try to keep the "two node" rule with weed also even though it could be different. The last time I regrew I had between 6-8 healthy growing tips shoot from each "popcorn" node. What was left of the stretched out popcorn got a little messy through veg and early flower but most of the crap drops off by week 5-6 when the new nodes become budsites.
In your case I would hit it with some bonsai bud to get it to concentrate on producing new growth/nodes. Its not good to use it with new clones but I've has success using it in re-growing. Just a single, one week dose usually does it for me.

Here are the latest lot of happy snaps to add to my almost finished grow journal. I just harvested 3 plants that were showing signs of being hermies. I think it was the flowering hormones I hit them with in week 6.
I took a few colas off the plants closest to the hermies. I might save some pollen and pollinate some popcorn and see if I can get some seeds. I would be nice to grow from seed again.
I've heard that females pollinated with hermie pollen produce feminized seed. It would be nice to have some backup seed stock if my crop totally fails at any stage and I am unable to take clones.
