your plants are a little stretched and growing slowly from too little/too far away lighting. you should have 3 or 4 sets of leaves (nodes) by now.

lighting is the most important factor in indoor growing. by the time you're ready to flower you should have at the very least 6,000 lumens per plant. that equals about 85 watts of cfl or about 50 watts of hps per plant. that is the minimum and your plants would love even more light.


as for distance, you should keep the light as close to the plants as you can without burning. use your hand at the top of the plants to test temp - if your hand is comfortable so will you plants.

these babies are three weeks old, 12/12, from seed under a 600 watt hps at 2 feet, although now that they're past the seedling stage i'll get them within a foot of the light from now on. they're adding one node per inch. a 600 is ok at 2 feet for seedlings but you want to have a 150 watt light alot closer - use the hand test described before..
