I posted the birth certificate certificate....the proof is there. You're just not acknowledging it.
I like Hillary. She served the people of new york well in the senate and she's done an outstanding job as secretary of state. She's hardworking, determined and very smart. What exactly do you have an issue with?
Was the individual health insurance mandate socialism when republicans proposed it in the 90s? How about when mitt romney signed it into law in MA? The educational loans aren't being taken over. They were government loans to begin with. It's just that they will now longer be administered by private banks, which will save something like 60 billion over 10 years that will go to pell grants for smart people who can't afford college. Call me crazy, but I would rather have that money go towards education rather into the bottom line of private banks. You can argue whether or not the bailouts were necessary and whether or not we were facing a massive depression, but they saved the economy a lot of pain and are being paid back with interest. Government spending goes up during recessions because of things like unemployment benefits, cobra and other built-in government spending that kicks in when the economy goes south. This idea of obama 'spending like a drunken sailor' is mostly fiction...
As for your 'dark path'....a vast majority of people disapproved of our previous presidents habit of inserting big government where it doesn't belong, like iraq, our phone calls and gitmo. It's all subjective. Having 'big government' provide some protection to consumers from health insurance companies and the financial industry seems like a good idea when people are getting squeezed for healthcare costs and loosing their homes because of a bunch of degenerate gamblers on wall street.
