MicRo Grow 2nd try CFL

I just looked through this whole thread...nice plants. You're doing better than I am. ahah. Just one thing though (constructive criticism). Your reflector is no good as it is aluminum foil which only reflects about 40% of the light, also reflects heat, and created hot spots. AS you probably know, mylar is what you want. The only problem is that mylar is expensive. But here's what many people don't know. You know the wrapping paper with the reflective back?? Yeah, that's mylar...much cheaper.

thanks for lookin bro yeah i know foil is no good but i didnt really wanna invest any money for my first successful grow just wanted to see if i could take a plant to fruition.... ill get some more reflective materials for my next try..... im also gonna construct a "box" for my next grow... this one was more of an experiment than a serious attempt and im happy with the results so far!!!

Still lookin good King.....I used emergency blankets in my tub.....If u don't paint ur box white, get them at Wally World in the camping section for 2 bucks.....Just added some more pics.....

Im going to be honest, You may get heaps of kiffy little popcorn nuggets unless the cola's fill out. At 4 weeks they should really be starting to kick it. But, If they do man good for you. If they dont, you could be looking at less than quater an oz dryed. At best i'd say a half. + the fact that soooo much light is being lost. Last year i had one plant under one 42w in small cab with white paper stappled not losing any light and i got 17 grams dried. (just over half and oz). You have put your lights closer but, Its not really doing much when half the cfl's lumens are emmiting away from your plant. + cfl's emmit more light from the side. Some things to think about. Not trying to be a downer and i know your just trying to get a successful grow under your belt but, At the end of it you could have bought alot more dope then how much they would add on to the power bill by the end. Goodluck thoe man. Peace

ok thanks for checkin up man and the criticism i feel ya youre right it wont be as good as it could have been because i didnt start out with all the lights, i didnt have it in a box, i went 12/12 from seed, all that.... but like u said im just tryin to get a successful grow under my belt... i dont think ur hating i appreciate the feedback ...... believe me next time will be better ill have a box, let em veg a lil, and have all my lights from the beginning.... but for real, the lights only cost like $5 a month, and this will be homegrown goodness ..... u wanna make a bet on the harvest????? lol holla back

yeah i'd be keen on a bet if you show a pic of them being scaled i'd say no more than 13 grams. But seriously dude, I know how little it is to run im just saying A. your main head has snaped B. My buds at day 14 from showen sex looked like yours and C. Your losing so many lumens that i just cant see your buds forming colar's and if they do it'l be a hella fluffy bud fest. Oh i should add i don't buy dope. Im in the 100 pound club

Carm down man its one tiny 1/30 of the size of our plants lol, Im just saying i would litrally smoke your harvest in a day or two. And i still do think you will yeild inbetween 1/4 and 1/3 of an oz, as ive said twice. And i still think its a waiste of electricity considering i could get at least 2 or 3 oz off your lights. Some people know how to use cfl's and some don't what can i say. I should add I don't get 100 pounds... Im not that ruthless that would be a 24/7 job if i done it by myself.
