Germanating hermaphrodite seeds-Help!!!

So one of my buddys gave me some seeds. He said there must of been a male in the garden last year.(he has no clue what happen and is a beginner). He also said he pulled a shit load of weed of the plant with the seeds. No other plant had seeds on them. I'm pretty sure it was a hermaphrodite. If it was will these 40 seeds be a waste? confused, will all the seeds turn out to be hermaphrodite?

The seeds are not a waste, if it was a herm. then you can only end up with either a female or a herm. so that does mean you need to always pay special attention to any of the plant as they grow to make sure they aren't herms but on the bright side you won't have any males.

Thanks man, thats what i was thinking. I'll just do 2x as many seeds to make up for the herms that pop up. My buddy has about 500 of them seeds. I already have 40 pre soaking in a tea cup of water fo the next 24 hours. The stuff I was reading about the hermies was just confusing. thanks!

By the way are you going to be planting in containers or in the ground. Containers would be nice because you could just isolate the hermies, pick the bananas off and still get a harvest from those too.
