lighting qs

hi this is my first glow so iam just checking so i dont stuff it up lol. i have a fluorescent
light box to start them off how long do i leave them under ive read till there about 18in high is this right, i have some mh lights, so do i then put them under these lights to get them to the hight i want them (how long or big can you grow them) then i put them under the hps to flower them ?.

how many watts is your mh lamp and hps? i would start with the fluorescent for a week or two with them an inch away or so. the veg under the mh till there at the height you want or your room will let you remember they do grow in flowering to. height also depends on how many watts you have you could always lst, top, or scrog them to get a large yield no matter amount of mh or hps. hope this helps.

hi the mh are 400watt i have 4 of them and the hps are 400watt i have 4 of them aswell.but i could always get more lights if i need, i only have the 400watt ones because they where free. i have about an 6ftx6ftx8ft high room

DAMN i would use two or three mh for vegging and 1 hps. and 3 hps for flowering and one mh if you can take the heat add more imo but they get hot! 8 free lights lucky fucker lol

pmsl, but i dont no how old the bulbs are, i dont really wanna go out and spend more money on bulbs tho, some time next week i was going to leave the lights on and see how hot the room gets and try and regulate the temp before i even start messing with the seeds. i turned one of the lights on and looked right at it after it had warmed up fuk me i was nearly blind pmsl.

most cannabis plants(except for auto flowers.. thats a different ballgame) will veg for 3 weeks no matter what light cycle you have them on. after that point, its up to you how long you want them to veg for. the longer you let them veg, the bigger they will get and the more the yield will increase. growing indoors, a good rule of thumb to observe is to plan that each plant will at least double in size when you switch to 12/12 lighting, and different strains will stretch at different rates, so be carefull not to veg for too long, or else when they go to flower, they will be getting burnt by the lights

haha ill have it like a forest in there, if i let them grow to about 2meters tall about how much could i get off each plant, the seeds i have are white moma and shark attack.

i leave my babies under my flores for about 2 weeks then i switch it for my HPS 400 cua i dont have MH and i put it under it for 18/6 then when i feel the time is right i switch it to a 12/12 cycle for flowering
