Please take 2 minutes to help confirm sex...

I have 5 (Feminized! ) Blue Cheese's that are just over 6 weeks old and have been showing sex for at least 10 days. 3 are definitely female's and 2 are suspected males.
I'm 95% sure they are male but would like an expert second opinion before they get the chop (especially seeing as they aren't flowering yet).

So, what do you think? Is there any chance these could still turn out to be females?

pic 2 i think thats a ball sac, but pic 3 has no visible male characteristics.

pic 2 does appear to be a male. sometimes it happens. if it also has female parts its a hermie.

i wouldnt be able to tell you unless you checked the whole plant for hairs...

pic 3 doesnt appear to be showing enough yet.


dont worry though you can wait....the pollen wont be spread that quickly. especially if they arent developed yet. or completely anyway.

I agree with the people above, the 2nd looks like it could be male but the 3rd is still a teardrop preflower that doesn't show hairs or balls. Give that one some time before chopping

btw. if you have the means...

you also could take the male and put it somewhere else with a female if you do wanna make seeds and bud at the same time without ruining a whole crop.

cuts down on your seed expenses...im considering this with the next male i get.

i figure i dont have to pay for seeds or clones.

also you could sell/give some to anyone you know interested in growing. ive seen some selling 5 seeds for $30...not bad.

thanks for the input all. the thing that looks like a pollen sack in pic two now appears to be a strangely growing shoot from that node. the other one that most people seem to think is too early to tell is looking more and more like pollen sacks. will leave them both a while longe,. just don't want to waste light on them when I could give the 4 confirmed females a bit better light coverage if the males weren't there...

very true. however it wont take very long for you to be 100% sure of the sex.

if its female you'll see this white-ish looking hairs...males look like balls or mini bananas. two very distinctive characteristics between males and females. so give it a few days to be certain. the pollen sacs (if male) will not release pollen immediately. however do not wait too long once you are sure they are male as it is impossible to tell you when they will pop.
