kitty, your obviously a female right? that is fine with me, sex doesn't matter with growing pot or knowledge of. Anybody who would discriminate against a female RIU grower or any female grower is an ignorant fool and is probably just a loser. What was sexist about that quote from mr.ganja? I embrace and love having girl growers around, thank god! it's not just a bunch of dudes. Peace love and respect, out. ~ ur BCbuddy

you know what? after reading that I realized my comment was outta place, I just wanted to stick up for girl growers lol. I knew it was over my head. I have not a f'n clue what Kitty is talking about.

I'm on day 4 of no cigarettes, overcompensating with weed and beer I read it again, woops, hahaha, my bad, i get it.

thanks CLOSETGROWTH it's been harden than any words can describe. Today is almost done and tomorrow is day 5. I think the worst may be over. How many days are you on? good 4 U to do this again. It hurts beyond belief but there is ways to cope and the outcome is absolutely splendid, at least that's what everyone tells me as I stare evil into thier souls... :) keep on it.

BCBuddy, it's still over my head! lol! But as a female member of RIU, I totally appreciate your thoughts on sexism in the grow community.
As I probably do yours as well, Researchkitty, if I only knew what you were talking about in that post. So, I'm not above asking: WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

What inspired it, might I ask? Is your research strictly of the 'botanical' nature? I'm only curious bc I spend A LOT of my time researching and writing (as a part of my job, ugh) & have started working on my M.A. in historical studies, so research is MY LIFE.

This is my first visit back to RIU since Dec., so it's nice to see that the sexism is still alive and well! lol! I noticed it here and there...but was never personally bothered. I picked a gender neutral screen name on purpose, and I sometimes regret that.....

I also quit again (cigs) recently. it really want that hard. ive gone back and forth a few times and i was legitamatly sick of smoking them. they tasted like shit and i hated the smell. couldnt stand having to have one after everything i did. they fuckin suck.(and cost 60-70 a week for something i dont want to do)

i usually coped by smoking alot of pot at first and once the real withdrawels went away 2-3 days id start reducing the reefer. and if i got really hot and felt like i was gonna snap i would use some deep breathing, in through my nose as deep as i could and out through the mouth (like blowing out a candle) and repeat as needed, this really helps.

sometimes i would even walk into the woods and cut down a tree with an ax just to release some tention....i know this isnt a smoking thread but i hope this can help motivate you 2 guys here and anybody else trying to quit the bad smoke.

BCBuddy :) Hey again as always. :) Grats on the smoking quits, it sucks! Soon as you finish your first harvest that'll be a thing of the past. :) Unlimited weed you grow vs $4.50 a pack of cigarettes.... Who am I kidding though I smoke both. =)
