Denver's Craigslist is the same way. Everyone's got extra meds and clones they're selling. It's remarkable and definitely a buyer's market.

According to Craigslist I have over 100 strains available to me with prices ranging from $35 an 1/8th to $250 an oz to $400 an oz for "premium" whatever that is...

Why go to Shoe Carnival for buy 1 get 1 free when I can go to a dispensary and get that!

Figure out a way to get it to Colorado,

stuff is moving here really fast. A friend called a disp to ask if they had Northern Lights, they said yes and when he got there they were out of it, which turned out great cause he got a discount on some Jack Herer

point is Disp's here can't keep it in stock
They will tell you whatever you want to hear just to get you in the door.

I would not trust who might end up calling you using craigslist. Too many variables. The vote for legalization that is apparently coming up for Californians will most likely be your determining factor. Have you considered an Amsterdam style coffee shop yet? That may not be out of the realm of possibilties after the big vote later this year. What is the political climate like surrounding the legalization vote currently. I understand there are alot of growers who oppose legalization, and from a financial and corporate take over point of view, I understand. But I also believe the DEA and the cartels have had a monopoly on the cannabis trade for long enough. All while they allow sick fuckers like that sex offender that killed that girl in the park to prey on people.

it's gonna be close. the community is divided because of the whole "tax" part so we are automatically losing half the voters. if it were written properly we'd have all the smokers plus a lot of non smokers. gonna be pretty interesting to see it all play out.

idk, i live in the midwest, we all down here pray yall legalize it in november. this, hopefully will help set off the legalization movement, just like the the MMJ movement. now even if it does pass my state is a good decade from even thinking about MMJ, especially not legalization. but cali seems to be the US guinea pig to try out radical and very liberal ideals on. look at MMJ. now legalization? although a lot of this is brought on from california financial down fall. i hope you all in cali decide to legalize. the commercial growers will just have to go export or leave the state. where i am, i can still sell a qp of top shelf, from 1750-2000. 6500-7000 a lb. just because of where im located. oh and that is if we get top shelf in, which is very rare. unless its grown here and i dont find too much of that either. this isnt because of bad connection. i have many and far reaching. my state could use some good quality nug and will pay good prices for it, without bitching. so Fdd, if you are worrid about a flooded market in cali, you can always start exporting it to the midwest. :bigjoint: i would definitely enjoy those frosty nugs you grow.

i think the legalizing thing would have come up regardless of the economy. it's just a good horse to ride in on. :hump:

6000 a lb WHAT?

oh, to be able to cross state lines, ........... bongsmilie

hopefully in the next year or two the wave will hit you.

Market slowed in the NW for a while recently. Gov started finding grows of upwards of 5000 plants in the state parks and such. Prices went to shit and people started to get pissed when they started to find poppy grows along side weed. Bad timing when they are trying to upgrade the Med laws to open dispensaries. Things seem to be back to normal for now, but we will have to see what happens after the out-door season. If your looking for input - I would say - plant as normal this time and see how it shakes out in the next couple of months.

Why would you grow more than you know you can get rid of? MJ is as legal as it should be if we want to keep the small farmers that we have depended on for so many years in business. If you don't grow for yourself then legalizing will just give you a shitty product at a somewhat low price and put the money in the hands of corporate crooks instead of our small farmers. I think most of us love the legality of MMJ and feel as though our culture has not suffered too much. Legalization is not as cool as you might think. JMO. Keep it Medical and enjoy the best of both worlds, good bud a local farmer support.
