As in the kind you get for Christmas Visa? Where someone gives you fifty bucks on a card?
Those are really unreliable, and if it turns out there's not enough on the card to pay, the card company doesn't pay them the rest and then charge you for over spending the way that credit/bank cards do. So the company gets fucked. So most of them don't accept them.

First off you need to find more info about pre paid cards. Do that and let us know what you know about those pre paid cards. GL!

All I know is I used my GREEN DOT Pre Paid card and Dr Chron declined that mug.
I broke down and used my Debit card so its really going to suck going to jail but hey its worth it.
I see all over the net people saying use a pre-paid, get a prepaid, yada yada yada.
Well I spent about a 100 dollars trying to get this pre-paid to work all for nothin.
It looks like Regular card, straight cash, or possibly money order are the ways to go. I dont even know if a money order would work either.

i had the same issue with drchronic and the gift cards, even tried to register the card and it was still declined. same thing on our credit card. also broke down and used the debit card, not too worried about it though. from what i understand, at worst i will get a letter.

I tried to get a pre-paid card at Walmart. They said I needed to tie it to a valid credit card and two forms of I.D. I said “cool!” then walked away. So I sent cash to Dr.Chronic. It was $130 so I was really paranoid, but I figured it was insurance I was willing to pay… Let’s say it was mailed from the Denver area or somewhere thereabout. A week later I received an e-mail that it was on it’s way, and a week later I had White Widow, AK-47 and some 80% Indica Blueberry seeds.
My point? You can get White Widow for $30. I’m not recommending it… well okay, I’m recommending it… but I wouldn’t send more than you’re willing to wipe your ass with… What the hell was I talking about… oh ya (fucking stoner)… Just send cash! You’ll probably be fine.

ive gotten the green dot cards @ drug stores and they didnt require me to use shit before i got one. its a bummer they charge you $15 everytim eyou load any amount of cash onto the card. even if you only need to put $5 on the card to finish out the cash, on something you want to order, yep- thatll be $15 to upload that $5.
it worked for whatever i wanted to order though.
i didnt order seeds with it though, when i was ordering seeds I used a money order, for the amount in full. seeds came back with no problems though

Ah dude dont even get me started on that.
My order with Dr Chron said it would be 70 bucks so I put 70 dollars on my card.
Come to find out the total was 71.04. So I had to buy the stupid little activation card which was 5 dollars and then put 20 dollars on it because the lowest amount you can put on is 20 dollars.
In my opinion Pre-paid cards working are a myth that people are throwing around thinking its safe.
Seriously if your reading this and thinking about making a purchase do your self a favor and just send the cash if your worried that much about it.
