A good method on how to water?

hey guys... im kinda stuck on how to water my plants... recently.. my plants got lucky and recovered from over watering..since they love me so much :).. over watering = frequency not quantity correct?...

How to pour the water? just all over the soil so the whole container gets equal ammount of water? or just one small place? or pour down where the stem comes out of the soil??

HI Blonddie07 the best way i found to water, is to give them water till it just starts to cumout of the bottom of the pots.I found that pouring water round all of the pot tops is the best way of wetin all the root.But as i say, best way, water everyother day just till out the bottom. Hope that helps m8

also get to know the weight of the plants right after watering and when they are dry . This way you get "a feel " for them. They need to dry a bit to get oxygen into the soil. I use a spray /mister and a water garden pourer

try 200ml of water you dont have to let it come out the bottom. and wate till the plant looks a little limp or pick it up when its dry to get a feel for iwhen it needs water again trust me. and it helps conserve you nutrients too. i water with 300ml and it last me 12 hours a plant can handel being a little dry then being drenched good luck. but i have water retaining crystals in my soil too.

cool thanks! ill just wait till the soil gets really dry.....i have been over watering all through out the life of these babies... funny, one day i forgot to water... and the plants looked really good... and i was like huh??? so i kept watering every night ..and day... EVERYDAY... with a shit load of water.. lol

not to dry it will shock them just when you pick it up and the pot feels light. good luck

yeah... i didn't water one day.. and it helped the plant.... and i thought oh maybe i should water more! since it looks good.. to make them look better... man i was really fucked up at the time.. and didnt notice that... i always thought more water for plants the better.. lol

haha yeah, every other day until all the soil is wet is a pretty simple easy way to know youre not watering them too much

another thing you can do is, if you are waterin every other day every now and then leave for an extra day to water.
then water as norm ie back to every other day.
it works good look m8

I water by the weight of the pot, not to difficult to figure out. I also completly water through the plants with roughly 1 cup of run off.
