Can you like cut off some buds off the plant and put it back into veg state to regrow and then put in flowering stange to grow more weed? lol

i read about it in the cervantes grow bible and currently have two plants reverting. heres what I did and what will happen:
first I cut off all of the individual buds and a few large colas, leaving as many leaves and stalks as possible
i flushed the plant and put it under 18/6 and am using phed water
the plant should take 3 to 4 weeks, hopefully I will see some new growth next week
I am using these plants as mothers, as the buds were tasty and the plants beefy
Also I read that the yield will be decreased the second time around, maybe ill flower one just to experiment

The best option for getting a mother from a flowering plant is to take a flowering clone though, they are perfect for being mothers. You can take them anytime, even at harvest time if you really wanted(which im not advising at all, just saying its possible.). Let me find something for you, i think you will also realize the whole clones cut in veg are better than clones cut from a flowering plant myth is just that-a myth. lol

I am curious though skeptical. My last grow i bought 8 og kush x la confidential clones that were clearly flowering. 3 of them died shortly after purchase.
as for the rest after 4 weeks of 24 hr light the plants finally grew about 4 inches, then it was time to flower.
the plants did produce a shit ton of leaves and branches, and the entire plant was packed with buds but they were sparse, slow to develop and yielded very little
maybe it was those particular plants, maybe it is just that they were flowering clones, all I know is that my entire grow will not be based on flowering clones unless I see something more impressive.

Double Harvests.

Most marijuana plants take at least five months to reach maturity. Once the plant has reached maturity, it is forming its most potent marijuana, and should not be cut down completely. You can often induce the females to flower a second (and sometimes a third) time, especially if the plants are indoors or if the weather is expected to stay mild for several more weeks.
To encourage a second bloom, first take the bulk of the harvest: all but the smallest buds, and most of the leaf. Some green leaves should be left on the plant to maintain the plant's growth. After harvesting, give the plants a thorough watering, and water with a soluble, complete fertiliser that provides a good supply of both N and P. This will encourage new growth and continued flowering.
Indoors, the best procedure is to treat the plants like a hedge. Cut all the plants back to equal heights, about two to three feet tall. Remove most of the grass, but again leave a few green leaves on the plant. Don't remove lower branches even if they are leafless, since these will sprout again. Lower the light system to the tops of the plants, and maintain the daily cycle at about 12 hours. The second crop of buds will be ready for harvest in four to eight weeks. With this system, the plants appear like dense hedges of buds. If the second crop of buds forms quickly, you should try for a third crop. Continue to fertilise the plants regularly, and watch for signs of magnesium deficiencies, which often show up when the plants have been growing for an extended time.
Double and triple harvests are one of the benefits of indoor growing. Although plants are relatively small indoors, the original harvest of buds can be triples in the next four months.
