9 plants 1 pound

So i grew some plants for the first time in years. This time i did a 4ft 7" x 4ft 7" x 6.7" tent. I used a hydrofarm cool hood, with 1000w light, cooled with a 460 cfm fan and 10" x 18" carbon filter. I have 250 cfm as a inlet for fresh air and a 17" fan for ciculation. I added a hydrofarm co2 system also. I grew 9 plants, 6 cherry bomb, 2 sfv og, 1 odyssey. I fined the og, and odyssey, and topped the cherry bomb. I used aurora organics mix and 3 gallon smart pots. For nuts i used all aurora organics. After this grow , i harvested 1 pound, is that a very low yield? it is dried and being cured right now. The cherry bomb , i dont think is a very high producing plant, but dont know for sure. I cant find to much info on cherry bomb. The other 3 gave about 1 oz more then the cherries. My friends think i should have gotten a couple of pounds, but they dont grow. any info, thanks

it makes sence to get a # from 9 plants in a 4x4 square. smaller pots, less room to grow. you got just over .5 gram per watt...i suppose its not a great yield but IMO its standard in your situation.

1000w light and you gat a good pound
thats real good for the first time around
with 9 plants
a 1.5-2 lb's would have been great

How long veg and how many grows u done? I agree with the above in that its average assuming ur in your first few grows but with 3 less plants 2 months of veg (plus A LOT of trial and error) I am able to pull another pound from the same setup w/o c02. So it is a decent yield but there is much room for improvement. Take lots of notes and pictures

I'm happy, for my first grow in over 5 years. This time i am doing afghani, blue dream, and grand daddy. They have about 6 weeks to go. See how it turns out. I also transplanted my 9 clones to some fox farm ocean forest, w/ light warrior added in 5 gallon smart pots. They will veg in my veg tent with a hydrofarm 4ft x 2ft 8 bulb fixture. This fixture does a great job, very happy with it.

Ive always heard if you get a pound of bud per 1000 watt light is about average.

I grew 4 soil plants, and 5 dwc bubblers with co2(for the first time), and was amazed at getting a bit over 39 oz's dry with a 1k light.

Environment means alot, if your temps were below 80 degree's the co2 will not improve things much.

Also, when your running co2 you really dont want to vent.

Humidity problem with a sealed room? Get a dehumidifier.

I believe your standard yields were due to the nutes you were using.

Try these Primo nutes right here, and expect at least 50% more.. I Promise. Here's the link>>> http://www.jacksclassic.com/dynamic_duo.html

Best of luck to ya :)

I used co2, but kept it at a level of 960 to 1000. I was going thru co2 every 9 days. 20lb bottle. The heat was always 83 with co2. The plants were close together, and only topped out at 26" tall. My plants that are in there now are 3ft tall right now, and have tops bigger then the cherry bomb plants ever had.

you should have vegged for longer if you had less plants. More plant vegged less.
Get clones of the same strain so the canopey is even. Try a scrog and vegg time if your short on plants. Thats good for 9 plants tho. You could have had 15-60 off a 1000w.
I veg for 15 days of 18/6 and then i put 33 under a 1000w. 10 inches into 12.12 they end up 2.5-3 feet tall

This time the plants are in 3 g smart pots, and organics. For nuts i'm using fox farms. The next set that is veging right now, is in 5 g smarts, with fox oceans. maybe things will increase.
