Rheumatoid Arthritis

Hello,

I am asking on behalf of a loved one. My wife was diagnosed with severe Rheumatoid Arthritis last year and the medicines that she has been taking are ineffective. She is taking the maximum dosages already...and the problems are worse. Not only that, but the medicines are knocking her out for a day at a time. What information (links or other) can you share with me about RA and marijuana? Please note that my wife is not a smoker...not even casually. I don't ask for selfish reasons...she has never given me even a little "issue" about my enjoyment of marijuana recreationally. We do not live in California...but I figured that since your state has enjoyed medical marijuana the longest...it would be the best place to start.

Any information is welcome even something as simple as the most effective strain that I could grow for her.

i have polyarteritis nodosa, which causes rheumatoid arthritis for people who have it. a good medication i was on enbrel but my new rheumatologist took me off of it and i deffinetly do not feel as well, since im a smoker tho i just smoke up as often as i can get it. hope this helps you.

im sure any indica will help but something like aura indica should help a bit. i wish i had access to more weed but my dealer usually has the same potent herb, its good but im a fan of variety.

i have sle and RA is a huge symptom of it.. one of my favorite strains (Sapphire, indica) is REALLY effective. when you research seeds, read the reviews on people.. herb that gives you couch-lock are good for RA, but make it difficult to move around.

Actually it is the ripeness of the Trichomes we all call resin glands----try eating it via making canna butter. I have a couple of brownies at night on the tougher nights to help with the joint pain. Mine is like nails or needles being pushed thru my shoulder rotator cuffs. So I know pain, I have even passed a few kidney stones and been shot with a nail gun./Jesus style K. Indica is your better bet but making sure you can get some with mostly Amber Tri's will give the sedation desired. NOt red hair Amber Tri's See trichome Search Amber vs cloudy. Good luck. I do not know how much relief she will get if she is at capacity on the Darvocets Percocet OxyCoton Codeine Vicodin Etc... and the list goes on as does the strains---yet one thing is common the darker the tris the better for pain. The lighter or cloudy is head or stress or Rec weed.

i got my medi card for arthritis and loss of apetite, i really fucken my wrist up a few years ago snowboarding, didnt break but fucked it up none the less, ended up the bone grew back all jacked up, so my wrist is a little sensitive and i get pain from time to time not to severe but its bothersome, i got this cream stuff from a medi dispensary kind of like tiger balm WORKS AMAZING, works great for your back too, and its only $20 for a lil jar of it and it last a good while

but im a smoker and love smoking, an strong indica always helps a little more

Sativex is one of the many cannabis tinctures and extracts used in research. As you know, your wife has a serious disease with a global immunomodulatory impairment. It stands to reason that marijuana's ability to gently dampen an overactive immune response would be a good explanation for the quote.

I've reduced years of serious research to a fortune cookie. For that I'm sorry. I hope she can get relief and experience more good days than bad. I hope she can have fun. But I have to say it - she needs serious help from serious people.
