I'm attaching photos, and explaining the situation as best as I can, so bear with me.
Plants/GR
I have 6 plants (decent bagseed) growing under a 150W CFL 24/7, temperature is always 80 F, 2 computer fans (intake on one side, and outtake on the other side positioned to direct and circulate warmer/cooler airs) and a 3rd inside the GR blowing gently on the plants. My GR is dumb-ghetto, but I've built it from the ground up to ensure healthy and constant growth, and look Solid Snake (both good and hidden).
Watering
They are under strict watering with rainwater I caught, and it maintains itself at PH 6.5.
Growing Medium
Generic Potting soil I bought at my local flower shop (comes in airtight clear bag) and it works wonders.......until the plants suddenly die for no reason after they reach the exciting point of no return (you noobs like me know what I'm talking about, aint nothing more irritating than losing your best looking and biggest plant, only to start back again from a seedling that is growing nowhere near as fast)
Two 2-gallon planters with 8 drainage holes each
Nutes (Nutrients)
Aside from the nutes naturally found in rainwater (eliminating the possibility of chlorine contamination from tap) I have 2 plant food sticks on each side of each plant bout midway through the plant stems and planter sides. The sticks are made for vegetating plants, and I have a new pack of the same kind, but for flowering plants (if i ever get there)
Ok, here's some small back history, Whenever my plants enter their vegetative states, They always grow their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th set of leaves, then soon after they'll shrivel up and die. I keep losing my precious plants and I've lost about 6 already, and I'm just about to throw in the towel.
Not once have I ever seen nute burns, or signs of malnourishment in any of my current plants (i'm always reading up on the signs to look for), nor any of the ones I've lost. One day they just decide to droop, and then they keep drooping till the leaves start curling. They die looking just as beautiful as when they were growing.
One thing I have noticed though is that every time this happens, there's always one part of the stem that looks like it was squeezed with a vice-grip. What do i mean by this? I've illustrated on the last attached photo. the photo names tell you what you'll see in the photos:
Plants
num 1- 13 days old, my biggest most leaves, mysteriously drooped, now curling
num 2- 13 days old, still thriving, (for how long )
num 3- 13 days old, mysteriously drooping
num 4- 12 days old, still thriving
num 5- 12 days old, kinda small
num 6- 12 days old, super small seedling, shriveling
squeezed stem- the picture accurately depicting the stems of all my fallen plants.
Last thing about all these plants, I flushed out and aerated the soil system 3 days ago
Please help, I seriously feel like throwing in the towel if these guys don't make it. Has anyone seen these shriveling stems? I've looked all over this forum, and several others for similar situations and I've found nothing
****Also, please refrain from telling me i shouldn't be putting more than one plant inside the planters. I have no space for the others, the roots are nowhere near each other (trust me before telling me and I go kill another one by accident), And whichever ones grow the fastest and the biggest will make the cut***
