When is too late to LST?

When is it too late to slowly start tying down your plant? could you perform something like this slowly even as late as flowering? thanks

do it whenever you feel the girls need. I dont know if you plan on bending a whole lot, if you do, do it earlier than later.

Well I am a few days short of a week into flowering I just don't know if people would go against just starting to train this late or not?

some do it up untill stretch is done in flower stage but say must be more carful for stems are brittle and easy to break
