While I don't quiet understand why someone would take the time to make an account here to ask a question that would be answered by the first return on a google search of their problem, I agree that the Newbie Central is for newbies and their newbie questions.
I'm a newbie too, so its nice to have a place where I can ask about anything (usually if I can't find it after a few minutes of searching the net)

I aint no newbie and have 1000s of stored documents throughout my years of growing but i dont advertise myself as Mr know it all and help out wherever i can as i dont ask questions but only give answers that i can provide.
(i dont do hydro).

For those who didnt read, or didnt try to read my entire post. Try the google search. It's a search of rollitup.org only. (That's what the "site:rollitup.org blah blah" is on the search term). Not a google search of the entire world wide web. Its faster to use than RIU's search feature, doesnt require those visual security questions for new accounts, etc....

If you dont like this method, cool, move along, no need to artificially increase your post count by hating a method on the Internet for research.

I'll "site:rollitup.org " now and again. although it's a pain in the ass, and rarely do i find the information that i'm looking for. I say, just ask and surely someone will be nice enough to help out.

Unless the search tool on this forum has improved, it is faster to use Google.

People who say they want to grow and are not willing to learn the basic basics before they start asking questions, dont show much initiative. I doubt if they will ever harvest anything, unless they can get someone else to take care of the plants for them. I will try to help folks all I can, but if someone is too lazy to take the first baby steps by themselves, they are on their own.
