I'm not a turd mixer either, lol. i just use Fox Farm. I use the Grow big and Big bloom for veg and the Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom for the fun part of the season. I mix in Marine Cuisine into the Pro-Mix too. Really any nute will work, grower depending. I've just use FF for so many years I can't change, and I get the desired results so if it ain't broken don't fix it.

Thats all you need. Ok for starters don't follow the recomendations from FF.
For veg I use 2 tsp of Grow Big and 2 Tbsp of Big Bloom
I like to add a bit of superthrive here and there for veg too.
I mix in the Marine cuisine into the soiless mix when I plant, for 25-30 holes I use 2 handfulls(roughly) I mix in thoroughly
This stuff is great for in between feedings but not nesesary. I find it helps alot, especially when raining and I miss a feeding.
I rarely use more than 2 tsp of the grow big because it will burn. I feed liquid weekly. I do 25-30 gallon holes and water 4 gallon at a whack.

My yields suffered until I swapped out the FF to GH synthetics..
