it started yesterday. kind of an upset stomach. but then it moved into my lower back. i've hurt my back several times in the past so i think chopping that firewood may have aggravated it. so i tossed and turn all night in extreme pain. got about 4 hours sleep. then i wake up this morning and it starts getting bad. after about 3 hours of being awake my whole body was in pain. felt like i got hit by a truck, right in my lower back. so next thing i know my body is ridding itself of everything fluid from, well, everywhere.(sorry). so i napped off and on all day. making frequent trips to the bathroom. i'm up now after 12 hours of bed rest. it's taken 3 bowl loads, 2 ibuprofen and a vicdon to stop the tears. it hurt so bad i was crying. i have no idea what that was but i don't want to do it again. i still feel sh*tty but at least i can sip a little 7up. i'm really scared to eat anything. pure agony.

I've experienced something like that. Pretty much the same symptoms. It hurt so bad I thought I was having a heart attack. I made a trip to the emergency ward that day. It ended up being Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease. The Doc tole me I had to quit two of my favorite things, caffeine and Alcohol. No more coffee, no more booze? Bullshit! It took me 3 more GERD attacks to finally agree that coffee, cola, tea and booze are out. I haven't had an attack since my last cup of coffee and glass of wine. Its been 3 years and still if I drink a 12 oz glass of wine or a nice shot of JD or brandy I can feel it starting. I'm sure glad I can still smoke bud.
Take it real easy and sleep. Get

Agree with Crazy my friend has a very bad problem with that actually ^^^ He's got a bad Mountain Dew addiction LOL I know it sounds sad but it's true

I was gonna say food poisoning but the fact that it's hurting the rest of your body not just your stomach makes me wonder......

it's gotta be food poisoning. i was up all night again. hot and cold flashes. shivering one minute sweating the next. i've been taking "Nexuim" for years so i know it's not my GERD. i think my muscles are sore because my body is trying to expel bad stuff. it's using everything i got to rid me of the nasty. funny thing is i really didn't eat anything unusual.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that in the United States alone, food poisoning causes about 76 million illnesses, 325,000 hospitalizations, and up to 5,000 deaths each year. One of the most common bacterial forms of infection, the salmonellae organisms, account for one billion dollars in medical costs and lost work time...

ahh ive had what I thought was food poisoning put me in the hospital before...I got extremely dehydrated becasue I was losing so many fluids and couldnt eat or drink a sip of anything. Well since I got so dehydrated my temp shot up to like 104-105 and I went into the hospital got a nice iv with some fluids and pain meds. I felt good almost instantly and for the rest of the night that I spent there. I felt exactly as your describing though. I couldnt even move, all my joints and everything were on fire. Well they told me a I had a really nasty strain of the flu...which theres many different kinds. Theres not really anything they can do for flus either besides keep you hydrated and keep your temp down.

I think you got the flu because when I got food piosoning (a few times) it only lasted overnight

That really sucks man let us know how its goin??? :peace::joint:

They say Gatorade is really good when your sick and need fluids, or any kind of juice. Ive noticed though that some sodas go down easier when your sick than juices do.

So how are you feeling?

Ahh I hate it, Ive had the flu really bad a few times and didnt eat for atleast 3 days.

The worst is when your dry heaving for 15 minutes and you have absolutely nothing to puke up. (I would sip ice cold water and it felt better to puke that up than to dry heave hahaha)
