im not even high. but its a routine of mine to meditate outside before goin to bed for the night. and as my eyes opened as I was about to get up and go back inside...my eyes automatically fixated onto this random 'star' for no reason. and as i kept staring at this star I started getting an odd feeling. and then it budged. not like a plane, or a satelite. its like it...jumped from point a to point b. a very short distance, but it jumped. I watched this star for 30 more minutes. it had many more movements. sometimes it just glided here to there. other times it rose and fell, someitmes it jumped like i said before. it blended in with all the other 'normal' stars too. it stayed in the same vicinity in the sky, it moved in very short distances. it was slightly blueish light that would change to whitish, then back to blueish....i dont even know what to think about this.....and im not lieing or joking. maybe its trick my eyes played on me...but i saw what i saw...

I believe it. Lots of weird shit happens out there :p A long time ago I was looking thru a telescope at a constellation (dont remember which one), and I saw a ball of light travel from one star to another. It only took a second or two, but I know I saw it. I certainly believe we're not alone in the universe.

I agree with Pad.. should've tooken a pic!

One thing I have noticed is as soon as spring rolls around, it seems like night sky is a hot bed for activity.

I think aliens exist. I saw something similar to what your saying a few years ago. My friends and I were talking about space and we looked at the little dipper and there was a blueish light near it and my friend said,"whats that blue light". We were looking at if for like five minutes and all the sudden it broke into 5 parts and were just moving in opposite directions of each other. Then all the sudden they came back together and the hole thing faded out. I was weirded out, but I don't know for sure what it was.

In a universe that our species cannot even begin to comprehend the size of, how can we be so arrogant as to believe it was all created just for us? There's definitely intelligent life out there somewhere.

This universe is not Copywrited by humans. We are not alone in the vast-ness and there are others aware of our exsistance. No doubt.

its hard to think that in an entire solar system full of galaxies and stars (suns) there isnt one planet about the same distance to ours from a sun.
then there wwould be life liek us. im sure theres some other life out there

i have seen some stuff like that. i have no knowledge of what stars i'm looking at, but sometimes i'm pretty sure it's just something on an elliptical orbit.. but for some of the activity you see up there, that would be a really strange orbit, but how it hangs at the edges, and the quick travel between two points, i think maybe an elliptical orbit where you are viewing the short side, and it is like, hold your arms straight out in front of you.. while its traveling down/up your arm, it appears still to the naked eye, and while going between your hands/across your chest, it travels very fast.
i have seen at least 2 objects i believed to be ufos. one could have been a really close plane, but it made no noise, and i would have seen an outline against the sky, where it traveled, on that night. it was just 3 organized lights traveling NNW.
the other was like a glowing blue bird that flew all the way east then turned around and flew west until it was gone. i had left my phone at home on the charger, but being a 1.3mp razr, it wouldnt have captured it anyway. my 3.2mp impression wont even pick up anything besides the moon and occasional glimpse of aircraft at night.
i once saw a ball of fire fall from the sky, very close to me. it was at least as big as a house. i was giong to go run and check out where it would have hit (it burned out at a height that only looked like a football field or so up. ) and possibly breathe in some spacedust or find some meteorite but the people i was with wanted to leave.
i have seen some other things, several times.. i felt they were watching me, but they could have just been some weird constellation or something.. they looked like . * . and hovered above the tree line, even did a 90 degree rotation while i was watching. that ruled out the silent helicopters spying on me theory, unless they were hanging lights from the helicopter as a 'star-camo', and rotated them 90 degrees, because a helicopter couldnt flip on its side without flying sideways..
ive seen lots of crazy stuff, and most of the time i wasn't under the influence of anything.
i have looked up in the sky, directly overhead, at a pulsar or satellite, who knows. flashing red whit and blue or something. then something in the center of my head started clicking. actually fucking clicking, like you click a grill ignitor.. click click click click it was crazy. make you think you got something living in your head, or some electronics. but i looked up my anatomy, and the clicking was coming from approximately where the pineal gland is. i figured the satellite, or the extraterrestrial civilization was beaming down some radio waves on me. lol thats the crazy part.. activating a biological toggle switch, to try to turn on telepathic ability so they could communicate. or the scary part, since i was high and paranoid. the scary thing i thought about that night was a bomb in my head, and the satellite was attempting to trigger the bomb, and it was a dud, the primer was clicking lol and i could have went boom! i have the most irrational fears sometimes when i am tripping out on the being high paranoia, falling up into a giant black hole that is the night, for example. but i believe there is life out there, i just havent seen any of that life here. i live kidna in the woods and i have been freaked out at night when something was running behind trees, and i was all paranoid and high. it could have been anything, a coon, a squirrel, but it was night, and i was high and trippin and i read too many scifi books as a kid so i was looking for some alien and then thinking of certain creatures that run around killing so i just went inside and started smoking some more.. this was after i fried my brain. i never had irrational fears like that before i fried my brain, just the occasional gentle 'auditory hallucinations' like music, or images of unknown molecular structures when i closed my eyes, or crazy in-head videos(cev) but like a real trippy movie, with audio, that one time i got ahold of some 'wet' lol not tha fake wet, embalming fluid stuff, but u no..
this happens everytime i start typing after 2am. its 4:30am and i feel like i typed just a little and its a huge block of run-on.

i agree with justanotherfriedday, us humans are idiots to think our little existence is the only one. we are merely ticks on the back of a big as animal!! one day some aliens will come by and pick us ticks off and adopt this animal!!

I was somewhat expecting this thread to just be a trashing of aliens aren't real and what not, just because that's usually what happens on forums, but seeing basically everyone agree here that some form of extraterrestrial life must exist makes me wonder if pot smokers tend to be more open toward things like aliens because we spend quite a bit of time in deep thought and almost a meditation like state when we smoke

It would be mighty selfish and astoundingly egotistical to think that we are the only life in the universe.

i haven't seen anything odd like that since i was a kid..

BUT.. i actually just bought a decent Telescope at a garage sale recently. Just been waiting for clear night.. fuckin' clouds.lol

most likely life is out there but don't be so sure it's intelligent
