Thanks man! I've had great luck with BF. This will be the third and fourth strains i've done now from BF. We've enjoyed the Blue Cheese and Red Dragon as well...nothing like growin with good genetics i heard nothing but good things about barneys farm, plants are looking sexxy bro!
I'm using 2x HPS 600w cooltubes for this tent. The lights have digital ballasts that automatically switch between the MH and HPS bulbs but since this tent is only for flowering, I haven't used the MH bulbs in them at all.what kind of light are you using and how many watts?
These seeds were germinated back in the beginning of March - they were in veg for 7 weeks before going into flowering and are now just over 2 weeks into flower.Yo my man cool job! I have Crimea blue also and they grow wonderful but they love to eat. I sub's to keep up with you, mine germ on 3-4-10. When did yours germ?
Great to have you join in YG!I'm interested in seeing how that VK turns out, so I'll be sticking around. Thanks for the great pix so far.
Thanks auto! By the look of them right now, i'm hoping to get about an ounce and a half per VK plant at least 1 ounce from the Crimea Blue. I like to underestimate the yield at this stage in the grow, as it's looking a bit like my second grow which I grossly underestimated and almost doubled my expectations...man those are some healthy looking girls. love the thick stalks too those things look massive . how much you think your gonna yield? by the looks of it so far it should be a good one!
That's awesome Wiz! This strain really took off about 3 weeks into veg and I hardly used any veg nutes as they didn't appear to need any - but this is a soil grow, so i'm sure you'll find out what they like in hydro! I'm pretty convinced that using rainwater is the way to go - no need to pH adjust it and i've gotten really healthy, fast growing plants using it. Hopefully we'll get enough rain this spring/summer to keep the girls happy!im for sure going to start following this grow...i just ordered 10 femd bf vk seeds and will start another grow journal when i start them...im gunna put them in a hydro flood and drain bucket system and see how they do...cant wait to see ur nugs fatten and frost up
Hey ultimate - thanks for dropping in! I know there's some sour opinions out there towards BF, but this is my third and fourth strain from Barney's now that i've grown out (all feminized seeds) and haven't had a single hermie so far! The blue-cheese was great and the red dragon was super awesome...can't wait to see what these girls will do - very aggressive growth and flowering so far, so I have no doubt these ones will turn out to be something special as well!looking good il keep an eye on this as iv heard a few bad reviews on barneys farm or barneys bollox as a few are now calling it after gettin regular hermies
i havent tried them myself an really fancy there pinapple chunk
hope all goes well
yes just saw the pineapple punch on bf site looks sick, always go barneys when i am in dam and never dissapointed with there products always top notch
Couldn't agree more with you guys - we've yet to make it to Amsterdam, but we'll def be making a trip in the next few years. BF strains have been awesome in my grow room and I can't wait to try out their Triple Zero and Royal Jelly hash when we're there as well... =)gotta love that rain water.....thats ALL i use to water my babies!!!
