Oh yeah one more quick question? Do I have to adjust my ph of my fox farm nuts or is it already adjusted. Because I have been trying to kepp the water balanced with the ph tester I bought one off those $100 ph tester but don't think I really know how to us it. I kept putting ph up in my water because I thought the Fox Farm nuts was too low which I may have been wrong? So their four I alway made my mix at 6.5 and it was already 6.5 now it must be over 7 because i alway raised the ph about 0.7 because I thought it was 5.9 which would make 6.5 reallu it must be 7.2 because my ph tester was wrong I think? I am crazy or maybe in the right path? I have been going crazy over think I do this to all my plants they always look the same 2 feet with tiny buds on them. They really should be 3 or 4 feet with big buds on them? I am a medical marijuana patient and really cant keep messing this up I am not even get 28 grams of one plant that not right. I am using a 1000 hortalux hps switchable Metal halid I have a ac running all day to keep my room 70 all the time Fox farm nuts, and my plants are afgan hindo kush a11 ever heard of that strain? I also have two 4'' and two 6'' blowing in and out with freash air all day. They have their own bedroom just look for some good advice. Thank you for all you help really appreciate it.
Just add your nutes to your water and feed the plants well and then after around 1hr after the soil has been watered and has had a chance to soak all the soil.
Test the soil with a probe and get it within spec.

I havnt seen any bugs, I checked and didn't see any spots on either side of my plants, no bugs in run-off water, all new growth looks good. No it doesn't seem to be spreading.

Hello all !! I am new to the Forums but have been lurking and reading a lot here. It's nice to know I have such a big family of fellow enthusiasts. Although I've only been doing this for a month, I've probably not stopped reading and learning - good thing my wife has her own life!! Ok so here goes.... Small closet op going...5 plants, week 3. Everything is going great so far. I have a 400 watt HID lighting system and the temperature would run at about 80-81F - but it would make the room the closet was in too hot. The light cycle I've been on has been 18 hours on, 6 off. Lights come on at 7PM and run until 1PM. So yesterday I decided to get an exhaust fan for my light hood....it took a long time to install - required going up into the attic and shifting some insulation around. Lights were supposed to go on at 7PM last night but I didn't have the setup ready until 11PM and I fired it up promptly at 11PM. So I was 4 hours off schedule. I still feel the need to let them get their 18 hours of light - which means I'll have to leave the light on until 5PM. Problem is that I have to get back to my 7PM start time, which means the lights would go off at 5PM (this time) and start back up at 7PM if I want to get back on my schedule. I have to get back on the 7PM "lights on" schedule to avoid peak energy costs. Will it be bad for them to go off at 5PM today, rest for two hours, check their water, pH, etc., then let the lights come back on at 7PM for another 18 hour run? Or should I just forget the 2 hours of darkness and just let it keep on goin'? I apologize if this topic has been covered - I did make an effort to find a situation similar to mine but couldn't and time is of the essence - I have to make a decision today. :-) Thanks a lot in advance for any help you can give!

Just switch it back to what you want. Its no big deal. Lots of people get light problems like timers jamming on or bulb faliures causing the lights to go out.
Nothing to worry about just switch it back how you want it.

Hey guys I could use some help! So I will be harvesting one of my plants tomorrow morning and drying it in my pcgrow box (I have a tent now for the real growing)
It has 4 little fans with 2 stacked on top of each other on the bottom of the front end, and 2 stacked half way up the middle of the back end
Which ones should I turn on? Would it be best to have the 2 pull out the back while leaving the ones in the front off? Would having all the fans (both intake and out) on dry them out too quickly?
And if you have any idea how long they might need to dry in there what would be helpful.
Most people seem to dry for 5-7 days, and the rule of thumb is to dry until the stems will snap and go straight to glass jar curing right?

Don't quick dry buds
It isn't worth it, bud needs to be dried properly for most of the THC to convert into the proper form
Unless you're trying not to get caught, in which case, I'm not too sure

I no that the buds are best dried slowly, you would have to be fucking stupid to quickdry a whole crop...
I just feel like a sample and have taken a lower branch...
And it is looking dammm tasty ..... lol

"and yes i no it would be better if i waited"

Got any pics ????????.
In the meantime you can stick a straw in the soil and tie it to the stem to it to hold it up.

Just turn all the fans off now if you are ready to harvest and dry them on a clothes line for as long as reqd. I dry my buds for 2 weeks before jarring and curing.

Quick drying your buds is pointless as it will taste shit and completely different unless you dry and cure your buds.
There are many methods for quick drying buds but its not for me as i have tried some of the methods.
