wouldn't the ammount depend on the ph of the water???2 tbs or 1 ounce ac vinegar to 1 gal water - Or - ¼ tbs lemon/lime juice to 1 gal water
wouldn't the ammount depend on the ph of the water???
what about ph down?
Yes thats a good idea as all you want to measure really is the soils ph (when moist) and not what you are feeding them. Yes test the waters ph but dont check it after you mix your feed just feed them and probe the soil when the water has had time to get throught all the soil.i PH at 6.5 - 7 after adding nutes. how come my soil is showing like PH of 8? probably just a crappy meter? should i start PH ing to 6 to get the soil down?
What do you mean ??????????then what do u do when your ph is off? do you make another batch and adjust the ph according to your problem then re water?
Just get it right the next time by lowering the ph of your water a fair bit more then add your nutes and do a soil test again after the next watering untill you get the feel for it and get it to the right spec.when you pobe your soil.
if your ph is 8+ (for example).
what do you do?
youve already fed them so im wondering how you adjust the ph in the wet soil.
I got a 1/2 gallon of Apple Cider Vinegar for $2.89 at any grocery storei think you should just save yourself the trouble and buy some liquid pre-made ph up and ph down. I like General Hydroponics. I've used GH pH up and down in almost every grow I've ever done. I've used in it hydroponics, soil, coco, soilless mix, hydroton, etc., and have never had a problem with it. I got a quart size bottle of the up and a quart size bottle of the down, and I payed less than $25 shipped.
I love Brita, mine comes out 6.8i use a filter jug and it keeps my tap water at 6.5 or lower, britta water filter ftw
