should i trim the leaves around the buds so that the smaller buds underneath can get more sunlight? bout 3 weeks in or something

its a matter of opinion with most growers but i never ever trim any leaves at all, the leaves are the solar panels of the plant and by cutting them off you decreasing its growing potential and making the plant spend more time repairing the damage. invest in side lighting instead
happy growing!

nice. but i would never trim, side lightings the best way to do it. works great and a noticable amount of larger buds on the bottom layers

you could do it but........It would be extremely foolish, the fan leaves are where the plant makes and stores energy it uses for growing the buds, the bigger the leaf the more effecient it becomes and you are also throwing away all that stored energy and stuff if you snip them in addition to losing a major source of energy for the plants, so leave the leaves alone.

Indeed, you are correct my friend.

I second this, worse comes to worse and you insist on doing something w/the leaves just get a piece of string and tape and tie it out of the way.
