I wonder if that dufus (Beck) can handle a man of Pauls caliber. I hope he tries to trick him into some neo-con bullshit so Paul can set him straight, Like the benefits of the Iraq war bullshit, that idiot (Beck) thinks Iraq is a necessary war on terror,~LOL~, Paul will straighten him out. I believe Paul is an honest man.

Med ...

This isn't about Beck, nor is it about how you differ with Beck. Its about Ron Paul. And on that note, wadda wanna to bet that Beck will agree with more of Ron Paul's ideas, and treat him with more respect than that Democrat shill, potatoe head, Russert will do on Meet the Press on Sunday morning?

PS: For everyone else in the forum ... we'll have fun discussing it tomorrow. :)

I think Mr. Russert will show his nice smile and sharp teeth, but be business as usual. Mr. Russert is a strong professional. After all, what does he have to work with, but, only one negative for RP. That being, he takes money from whoever gives it; because he does not personally know all his contributors. That is not a very big bone for Tim Russert to chew on. The rest is libertarian 101.

Mr. Beck on the other hand, has been completely dismissing RP because of his strange views. After RP explains his views, I doubt Mr. Beck changes much. He is after all a recovering alcoholic and a Mormon. A man with strong convictions. Although, he seems to have an open mind, for change, on some issues.

Glenn Beck is used a car salesman.............not to mention he believes God buried golden tablets in New York and the garden of eden is in Missouri......Ron Paul knows his foreign policy but Glen Beck isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer

I thought Glenn Beck was going to kiss RP. There was drool running down his cheeks. He could NOT have been nicer to RP. This interview may give RP a bump in the polls.

Those are my feelings exactly. Glenn gave RP more than ample time to express and explain his views. Glenn Beck has a huge audience, and that audience was exposed to RP's views, many for the first time. That's the important issue here, not GB's religion, politics or gold tablets.

Now then, for those of us who watched the show, let's also take in Russert's program this coming Sunday morning and make the comparison on interview styles. Ron Paul is such a classy guy that Russert will look like a troll if he tries to undermine RP's stances on the income tax, IRS, social security and socialized medical.

PS: Hey, if "potatoe" was good enough for Quayle, its good enough for me. ~lol~

Hey, potatoe man,

Remember this, usually a fair but tough interview HELPS the careers of both the candidate and the reporter. In the White House, Sam Donaldson was RR secret weapon.

Beck was fair and semi-tough...Paul did a good job.
I am looking forward to seeing how Russert deals with Pauls outlandish straightforwardness....I just wish Paul could exude more passion(like Alan Keyes) who happens to be one of the most passionate speakers I have ever seen!!!

Go Ron Paul!!!
NOW is the time!

Hi, Wavels ...

The good news is, Russert has promised to have every presidential candidate on his show for the entire hour. Alan Keyes' turn is coming up. Stay posted. :)

Alan Keyes is running for president???? I had no idea. Is he running as an independent? I remember him running last election but didn't he run as a Republican? Or is my memory bad:confused:

I am focused on RP. We are not far from a statistical-dead-heat on the repub ticket. RP will stay on the repub ticket. A couple major players will cash in their chips in the next few weeks.

Hi, Blaze ...

Yep, Alan Keyes is running as a Republican. He got into the race shortly after Fred Thompson did. He's been in two of the Republican debates so far. The media isn't giving him much coverage yet. He carries pretty much the same message as Ron Paul does, so that explains the relative lack of coverage by the Left-Wing Marxist media. Paul and Keyes are 180 degrees away from the Left's agenda.

In my opinion, Ron Paul and Alan Keyes are both true statesmen ... something that's sorely lacking in national politics today.
