Wet/sticky?

Hi everyone.


I was wondering, in Fiji where I grew up, the pot we smoked was very wet(wrapped in tin foil) and was very sticky. I was wondering if anyone has had pot like that? And produced it? It had a very green fresh grass smell, not sure if it was the flower or the leaves or both, and it was so sticky we used to use scissors to cut it very finely to get it in our bowels. Anyone have any ideas?

Pretty sure the weed wasn't dried out enough aka you got the freshest stuff. I've had wed/sticky buds from weed I have bought from dealers and it's usually quite hard to smoke and leaves a bad taste :/

stickyness is from resin/trichromes. midgrade isnt as sticky or "wet" because of the lack of trichromes. or it could just not be dry enough. ive had that plenty of times where the j wont stay lit. put em in some mason jars for a while til their dry.

Would it be maybe just because(from what I heard) it is picked then imediatly wrapped tightly in foil. I've never do e it. But always wondered if it was that or was it just cause it was like 60-95f anD same humity?

from what i know you must take the time to dry the buds for a couple weeks then cure them in mason jars for a couple weeks to months.

lol we met this dude at a beach house, and he says 'you guys wanna toke down' so we say yea sure, and he come back with this big bud that you can tell he just pulled it off a plant. so we wrapped it in aluminum foil and threw it in the sun to help dry it out. is that what you mean, the foil is to dry the bud? couldnt smoke that shit for days haha

Dude i get those kinda buds in AZ and they are the tastiest buds ever man just the right curing and you can have buds like that.
